Roles & Responsibilities:

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ PRE ORDER STAGE:
✓ Study of technical data received in the form of enquiry from customer i.e., tender documents,
process data, drawings, etc.
✓ To clarify scope of supply & various technical aspects during pre-bid stage like designing, hydro test,
NDEs (PT, UT, RT, etc.), QAP/ ITP, painting, galvanizing, packing, delivery, shipping conditions
(Incoterms), welding procedures (SAW, GMAW, etc.), length of pipe (random/ fixed), raw material
sourcing restrictions, quality tests (in housing or outsourcing), TPI (Third Party Inspection), etc.

✓ To calculate BOQ/ BOM from Isometric Drawings.
✓ Preparation of material and cost estimation sheet for the equipment along with budget sheet, and
comparison sheet of received back-up quotations.
✓ To attend Pre-Bid Meeting and clarify any technical or commercial query at pre-bid stage itself.
✓ Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Project, Production, Welding, Quality,
Painting, Packing, Dispatch, etc.) to ensure deadlines are met.
✓ Analysis and arrangement of quotations from various vendors for different materials as per client’s
requirements. Further price negotiation and vendor development if required (for pipe suppliers,
valve suppliers, rubber lining sub vendor, hardware, hoses, etc.).
✓ Preparation of technical offer along with commercial terms and conditions in line with client’s
requirements and company’s procedures and capabilities.
✓ Continuous follow with customer for getting order.
➢ POST-ORDER STAGE:
✓ Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Project, Production, Welding, Quality,
Painting, Packing, Dispatch, etc.) to ensure deadlines are met.
✓ Analysis and arrangement of quotations from various vendors for different materials as per client’s
requirements. Further price negotiation and vendor development if required.
✓ Preparation of technical offer along with commercial terms and conditions in line with client’s
requirements and company’s procedures and capabilities.
✓ Conducting Kick-off Meeting (KOM) with customer and within internal departments after receiving
Purchase Orders.
✓ Coordinating the full handover to Project Department in the form of file transfer after award of
contract.
