Upgrade paths for EcoStruxure Building Operation Software
An upgrade path defines the supported steps for how to upgrade a system to a newer Software version.
Not following the upgrade path may have unknown consequences on your system and is not supported.
Note: Release v7.0.1 offers the possibility to upgrade a system in a non-sequential way. Any EcoStruxure Building
Operation solution that is currently at v3.2 or higher can be upgraded directly to v7.0.1.

Multi-version Support for EcoStruxure Building Operation Servers
Multi-version Support (MVS) is available from EBO 3.1 (excluding EBO 3.3L).
In short MVS means that it is possible to operate the top level server on a higher version than the lower level servers.
Refer to release notes for exact definitions and limitations for each software version.
EcoStruxure Building Operation and SpaceLogic / EasyLogic firmware compatibility
While it is always recommended to operate with the latest available firmware version, the controller firmware version
works independently from the EBO version with full compatibility. It is possible to mix different firmware versions
under the same server.
Refer to the release notes for exact definitions and limitations for each combination of RP and MP hardware version
and EBO version.
SpaceLogic / EasyLogic firmware compatibility
Firmware versions are by design backward compatible as specified in the Compatibility matrix in their release notes.
