1. B 6. C 11. D
2. A 7. D 12. A
3. D 8. A 13. A
4. A 9. D 14. C

II. Process

The vehicle will continue to run in the highway in a straight direction. (Newton’s 2 nd Law of
Motion)

III. Understanding

Without air resistance, why do objects with different masses fall at the same speed?

Gravity works independently on the mass which means that all object falls at the same
speed if there in no gravity. Same as air resistance is a force that opposes gravity. The greater the
surface area of an object the more surface for air to push up against and so air resistance will act
upon a falling object, by slowing its fall. The amount of air resistance depends ob its shaze and size
of the object.

Understanding

Write the importance and uses of transformation of energy as part of our daily lives.

Energy is needed to make things move. Our body also needs energy but in order to use enegy
it needs to be transformed. An example of this is the food we consumed, it needs to be transformed
into a simple compound called glucose before the body can digest it. But glucose must be burned to
release energy and this process is called respiration. When respiration occur energy is release, then
our muscle will used the energy to it to function.
