DISTRCT 5 CONVERGENCE OF EDUCATION LEADERS
Opening Spiel: Life is full of meaningful journey that led us to our greatest
realizations. These journeys are stories, stories that will keep us grounded and
rooted. In life, we are confronted with many choices, choices that most of the
time challenge us to be alert, keen, strong, and wise. Most often, our choices
shape our dreams, dreams that sometimes are elusive as our emotions.
However, our choices do not shape our lives but on how we live on those
choices. To our well-respected Public Schools District Supervisor, a woman of
great substance and values Dr. Ma. Jereza C. Matiga, to our equally competent
men and women and excellent school heads of District 5, co-educators, friends,
ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Julian C. Gantuangco NHS for the District 5
Convergence of Education Leaders. To formally begin this meaningful endeavor,
let us all stand for the singing of our National Anthem. Please do remain standing
as we invoke God’s divine intervention through an inter-faith prayer, this will be
followed by the singing of the Deped Ormoc Hymn and Ormoc City Hymn via
AVP.

The situation we all are in is a reality that life has many ways to allow us to
learn and grow. Sometimes, the different circumstances may cause us to feel
overwhelmed and drained, but we can always choose to see things in a
different lens of perception and try to navigate our way towards fulfillment
and success. To envision us with the depth of this gathering let us all hear the
words of welcome from a renowned person, an icon of leadership and
education, the district 5 Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Ma. Jereza C.
Matiga, a round of applause.
…thank you so much ma’am for that warm message to all of us. Indeed, your
excellence and passion towards education inspire us to be better teachers to
our learners.

This celebration goes beyond what we have accomplished. To acknowledge
and recognize our accomplishments in any degree is a big fulfillment in
developing ourselves to be our best character. It is a fact that success in
education is a lifelong learning experience that are substantial and
meaningful for achieving a transformative individual. At this juncture, let us
call in the dynamic school head of Julian C. Gantuangco NHS, a man of faith

PRESENTATION OF Q2 2022 PROMEDS: Sir Jstel T. Martinez
Through the years, the world has changed to be more demanding. The
complexity and competition in many fields have challenged the course of
survival – survival in work and in life. However, this age is the renaissance of
great leaders – leaders who are more passionate, adaptive, understanding,
and inclusive. Ladies and gentlemen, to present to us the 2 nd Quarter
PROMEDS, may I call in once again Mr. Jstel T. Martinez, the dynamic school
head of Julian C. Gantuangco NHS.

OPEN FORUM
District 5 gets closer to achieving greatness because of the great leaders who
are great thinkers and doers. And now, we will continue to reach our greatest
horizons as the beacon of hope continues to give light to the torch of
education in the district. A hope of a brighter mornings, a hope that gives
comfort, and a hope that brings happiness. As change is inevitable, it will
always allow us to new meaningful experiences that will enable us to learn
and grow as individuals. This time, we now proceed to the Open Forum. The
part 2 of this DCEL will commence later at 1pm for the updates of
Department Orders and District Memos, and other important matters.
