Bootloader Installation

 When asked:
Do you want to install GRUB boot loader? → Choose Yes.

 Then:
Do you want to install /system directory as read-write? →
Choose Yes.

5. Installation Process
 The installer will:

1. Format the partition.

2. Copy Android system files.

3. Install GRUB and configure boot entries.

This will take 1–5 minutes depending on your VM speed.

6. Finishing
 After install completes, choose Reboot.

 Remove the ISO from the VM’s CDROM (in virt-manager: VM → Details → CDROM →
Disconnect ISO).

 The VM will boot into Android-x86 for the first time.

7. Android First Boot

 You’ll see the Android boot animation.

 The initial setup is just like a phone:

 Select language.

 Connect to network (it’ll use your VM’s network).

 Sign into Google or skip.

 Configure date/time, gestures, and theme.

If you want, I can give you keyboard shortcuts to navigate these screens easily inside the virt-
viewer/virt-manager console, because without them, it’s a bit painful.

Do you want me to include those? They make the text installer much easier to control.
