Video Analytics Intern – AI / Computer Vision
Internship Duration: 3 to 6 months
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Intern to join our Video Analytics (VA)
team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, and
test AI models for real-time computer vision use cases. This is a great opportunity to gain
hands-on industry experience working on real-world applications involving object detection,
tracking, and smart surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in developing and testing computer vision models for video analytics tasks.
● Support data collection, preprocessing, and annotation of video datasets.
● Work with tools such as OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
● Perform experiments, evaluate model performance, and document findings.
● Collaborate with team members to integrate and test AI models in pipelines.
● Learn and apply best practices for model optimization and deployment.
Required Skills:
● Strong knowledge of Python and understanding of basic computer vision concepts.
● Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
● Exposure to OpenCV and basic image/video processing.
● Good problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Final year or recently graduated students in Computer Science / AI / Data Science /
Electronics or related disciplines.
● Academic or personal projects related to computer vision or AI.
● Familiarity with Docker, Git, or edge devices (Jetson, Raspberry Pi) is a plus.
