Physics - Laws of Motion

- Newton's First Law: An object remains at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by a force.
- Newton's Second Law: Force equals mass times acceleration (F = ma).
- Newton's Third Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Chemistry - States of Matter
- Solid: Definite shape and volume, particles are closely packed.
- Liquid: Definite volume, takes shape of container.
- Gas: No definite shape or volume, particles move freely.
Biology - Photosynthesis
- Process by which plants make their own food using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water.
- Chlorophyll in leaves absorbs sunlight.
- Equation: 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2.
Earth Science - Layers of the Earth
- Crust: Outer solid layer where we live.
- Mantle: Semi-solid rock beneath the crust.
- Core: Inner (solid) and outer (liquid) layers, mainly iron and nickel.
