Introduction to Excel
1. Part of MS Office Package and windows based application software.
2. Excel is the Excellent version of Lotus Software.
3. The working area of Excel is known as Spreadsheet/Worksheet.
4. The files of Excel is called Workbook.
5. A workbook contains maximum 255 worksheets.
6. The extension of Excel's file is .xlsx and saved in My Document folder by
default.
7. The actual place where you write data is called Cell.
8. A sheet contains 16384 columns and 1048576 rows.
9. With the help of Excel, we can enter data and also used to visualize data with
the help of pivot chart and pivot table.
10. In Excel we can perform mathematical and logical operations on Data with using
Functions.

October 2021.
