USER GUIDE – DATA AVAILABILITY
This guide aims to provide a thorough overview of the module's interface, outlining
its functions and tools. It also includes navigation tips to aid users in exploring the
module and accessing information easily.
The module's interface is divided into four main sections: the Parameter Selection
Panel, Map Viewer, Data Panel, and User Guide (as shown in the figure below).
Each section is designed to assist users in navigating the module's functionality
efficiently.

Here's a breakdown of the elements found on the main or home page of the
module:

1. Parameter Selection Panel : In this panel, the available widgets are as
follows:
I. Global Search: Allows users to search for a specific location or address.
II. Time Series Data: Users can select groundwater and surface water level
time series data categories for manual and telemetry stations. This
selection gets reflected in the map and data section.
III. Unit-wise Selection: Users can choose between Admin, Basin, or Agency to
access specific details from the drop-down menu.
IV. Basemap Gallery: Offers various ESRI basemaps, allowing users to switch
the base map view.

V. Layer list: Displays features overlaid on the map under different groups,
with options to toggle visibility.
VI. Print: Enables users to export location maps in layout view or map-only
format, including legends, map titles, and scale bars.
VII. User Guide: A comprehensive user guide is available to assist users in
navigating the module. The user guide minimizes/expands in the rightmost
panel using this widget.

2. Map Viewer:
Users can view state/basin layers containing surface and groundwater manual
and telemetry stations, with data accessibility based on selected criteria.
Various widgets such as the side panel, zoom-in, zoom-out, default map view,
and legend enhance the map viewing experience

i. Side Panel: This gives an option to minimize/expand the query panel for a
better map view.
ii. Zoom-in: Enhances map viewing experience by zooming the features
depending on the selected scale.
iii. Zoom-out: Map view zooms out, revealing visible features according to the
assigned scale.
iv. Default view: Default view fits the county-level map in the map section.
v. Legend: This section gives the option to show/hide the legend as per the
users query.
3. Data Panel:
This panel showcases time series data collected from telemetry and manual
stations. It features a table displaying parameters' details such as name, associated
station count, and data availability period.

Upon selecting an administrative/basin/agency, specific information is shown,
including agency name, station count, and data availability date.
A detailed station-wise information table may be accessed after selecting the
agency from the table. The table includes information such as station name, code,
date range, data availability, and percent availability, represented by coloured
circles: a blue circle represents the most recent data from the last 1 day, and a red
circle represents data older than one day.

Additionally, the information button at the top right corner of the table provides
methodology details for calculating availability.
