Mini-Dino Crochet Pattern

Mini-Dino is Jurras-SICK!
This beginner crochet pattern contains step-by-step instructions with pictures to
help you make your own Mini-Dino. We’ll crochet all parts and then we’ll sew each
part onto the body.

Measurements Materials
Length: 2 inches 20g size 4 worsted weight yarn in
Width: 2 inches Main Color (MC)
Height: 5 inches 5g size 4 worsted weight yarn in
Contrasting Color (CC)
6mm or 8mm safety eyes
Notes Stuffing
This pattern is written in US 4mm crochet hook
terminology. The color changes are Yarn needle
indicated by how many stitches Stitch marker
should be in each color. Scissors
Gauge is not crucial to this pattern
as long as the stitches are tight
enough to hold the stuffing.
Depending on your tension and Abbreviations & Stitches
yarn, you may want to adjust the MC = Main Color
size of your crochet hook. CC = Contrasting Color
To make a 5in Mini-Dino, I use size 4 MR = Magic Ring
worsted weight yarn with a 4mm sc = Single Crochet
crochet hook. To make a 14in Mini- inc = Increase (2 sc in 1 st)
Dino, I use size 7 jumbo chenille yarn dec = Invisible Decrease
with a 10mm crochet hook. Insert hook into the front loops of

Use a stitch marker to mark the last stitch of
each row as you crochet. I recommend
checking your stitch count at the end of
each row for accuracy.
In Main Color,
R1: 6sc in MR (6)
R2: 6inc (12)
R3: (1sc, inc)x6 (18)
R4: (2sc, inc)x6 (24)
R1-5 Completed
R5: (3sc, inc)x6 (30)
R6-9: (4 rounds) 1sc in each st (30)
Note: Regardless of what type of yarn
you are using, your work should lie flat
All decreases are worked as invisible
after R5. Generally, if you’re working
