The life of a teenager in South Africa
My name is Buhle. I’m sixteen years old. I live with my parents in
a house in Johannesburg, South Africa. I’ve got a younger brother,
but he lives with my grandmother.
I go to Greenside High School. I usually walk there. It’s a big
school with big classes. There are 56 students in my class. My
teacher has a difficult job! History is my favourite subject.
My main hobby is the Internet. Now I’ve got
four websites. I write about South Africa and
life in South Africa. I want people to know about my country, its
people, and the things that South African teenagers like doing.
I love sports. I can play hockey and volleyball very well. I also like
watching films at the weekend. There’s a big cinema in my
neighbourhood. Last Saturday I went there with my friends. We
watched an action film and then ate some hamburgers. We had a
great time!
I’ve got lots of plans for the future. In 2019, I’m going to travel to Paris, France. I would
like to see the Eiffel Tower.
