INTRODUCTION:-
Good discipline is a key to success in the achievement of goals. Absence of
discipline leads to many uncertainties, unrest and may result in chaos and
confusion. Alternatively, disciplined environment has a good impact on the
development of growing minds and gives a better grooming field for a novice. The
ultimate achievement of education is a disciplined mind which works within the
constraints and challenges of life and follows an act of rules without impinging
upon the rights of others.
AIM:-
To spell out a comprehensive policy for the constituent-Institutions/
campuses with a view to help them create a civilized and conducive
environments for knowledge seekers at the school.
To maintain a safe and desirable environment for learning.
Part of a safe environment is the creation of an atmosphere where all are
free from the fear of arbitrary or capricious action and the fear of assault.

STUDENT DRESS CODE:-
Uniform must be neatly cleaned and ironed.
Personal cleanliness, hygiene and neatness are expected at all times.
Students are not allowed to wear watches. 10th STD students are allowed to
use analogue watches.
Black shoes and school socks must be worn.
No pullovers to be worn other than the track jacket.
Girls :-
Knee length skirts to worn with shorts underneath.
Black elastic hair bands to be worn every day.
Long hair or shoulder length hair to be braided or tied into plaits.
Short hair to be tied in a ponytail.
Small studs to be worn.
No anklets and bangles.
Tight slips to be worn underneath the shirts.
Boys :-
Pants to be straight cut and not baggy or tight fit.
Shirts to be tucked in at all times.
No sacred threads or religious marks.
Vest to be worn underneath the shirt.
Crew cut or NDA cut.
Students are not allowed to colour / spike / gel their hair,
DISCIPLINE DURING MAJOR AND MINOR EVENTS:-
1. Respect: Students should show respect for themselves, their peers, teachers, and
any guests or speakers during events and celebrations.
2. Compliance with instructions: Students must follow instructions given by
teachers, staff, or event organizers to ensure smooth running of the event.
3. Punctuality: Arrive on time for events and celebrations
4. Dress code: Adhere to any specific dress code guidelines set for the event.
5. Behavior: Avoid disruptive or disrespectful behavior that may detract from the
event.
6. Participation: Engage actively and positively in activities planned for the event.
7. Safety: Follow safety guidelines provided by teachers or event organizers,
especially during activities or performances.
8. Cleanliness: Keep the school environment clean and tidy. Dispose of trash
properly and respect school property.
9. Use of technology: Use electronic devices responsibly and in accordance with
school policies.
10.Cooperation: Work together with teachers, staff, and fellow students to ensure the
success of the event or celebration.
BOARDING AND UNBOARDING INSTRUCTIONS:-
1. Arrive Early: Be at the bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled arrival time
of the bus.
2. Stand Back: While waiting for the bus, stand a safe distance away from the curb
or edge of the road. Avoid playing or running near the road.
3. Wait Patiently: Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching it.
Do not attempt to board the bus while it is still moving.
4. Form a Line: Form a single-file line as you wait to board the bus.
5. Use Handrails: When boarding the bus, use the handrails while climbing.
6. Find a Seat Quickly: Once inside the bus, find a seat quickly and remain seated.
Avoid standing or moving around while the bus is in motion.
7. Listen to the Driver: Listen to any instructions given by the bus driver and follow
them promptly.
8. Wait for Signal to Cross: When getting off the bus, wait for the driver's signal
before crossing the road. Look both ways and cross only when it is safe to do so.
9. Report Concerns: If you notice any safety concerns or issues during the boarding
or unboarding process, report them to the bus driver or school authorities promptly.
10. Bus Leaders: Adhere to the instructions given by the leaders and teachers.
STAFF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:-
Arrival:
1. Dress code: Adhere to the respective school uniform.
2. Early Arrival: Arrive at the school well before the designated start time to prepare
for the arrival of students. This allows for any necessary setup and coordination.
3. Check Assigned Duties: Assign specific duties to class monitors to facilitate a
smooth arrival process.
4. Monitor Arrival: Monitor the arrival of students, ensuring that they enter the
school premises safely and proceed to their respective classrooms or designated
areas without delay.
5. Greet Students: Welcome students with a friendly demeanor as they arrive,
fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the school.
6. Assist Students: Be available to assist students who may require guidance or
support with special needs.
7. Maintain Order: Ensure that students adhere to school rules and guidelines during
arrival, maintaining order and discipline as necessary.
Departure:
1. Organize Dismissal: Plan and coordinate the dismissal process to ensure a smooth
and orderly departure for students at the end of the school day.
2. Supervise Dismissal: Assign discipline in charge students to supervise dismissal
areas, such as bus loading zones and pedestrian exits, to ensure safety and
efficiency.
3. Communicate Procedures: Clearly communicate dismissal procedures to students
to minimize confusion
4. Monitor Departure: Monitor the departure of students, ensuring that they leave
the school premises safely
5. Address Concerns: Address any concerns or issues that arise during dismissal
promptly and appropriately.
6. Coordinate Transportation: Coordinate with transportation incharge to ensure
that buses and other transportation services.
7. Secure Facilities: Ensure that school facilities are properly secured after the
departure of students like lights, fans, smart boards, etc.
STUDENT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:-
Arrival:-
1. Students must be present in the school at 9:15 a.m.
2. Classes commence at 9:45a.m.
3. Students will not be permitted to enter the premises once the assembly has started
at 9.20 a.m.
4. Line up quietly and heed to instructions from staff.
5. Greet teachers and classmates respectfully.
6. Proceed to classrooms or designated areas calmly and in an orderly manner.
7. Listen attentively to any announcements or instructions given by school heads.
8. Begin the day with class prayer, affirmations, meditation, positive attitude and
readiness to learn.
9. No student is allowed to leave the premises before the final bell.
Departure:
1. Pack belongings and clean up personal space.
2. Listen for dismissal instructions from teachers and discipline incharges.
3. Line up quietly and follow the instructions given.
4. Say goodbye to teachers and classmates respectfully.
5. Leave classrooms or designated areas calmly and in an orderly manner.
6. Proceed to buses, parent pick-up zones safely.
7. Remember to take home any necessary materials or assignments.
8. Students will disperse at 4.30 p.m. Parents/Drivers coming to pick up their wards
will not be permitted into the corridors/classrooms. They will have to wait in the
designated areas for their wards.
STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT:-
1. Respect for Self and Others:
Treat others with kindness, courtesy, and respect at all times.
Avoid language or actions that are disrespectful, offensive, or
discriminatory.
Respect personal space and boundaries of others.
2. Attendance and Punctuality:
Attend all classes regularly and arrive on time.
Notify the school office in advance if unable to attend due to illness or other
legitimate reasons.
Make every effort to catch up on missed work.
3. Academic Integrity:
Complete all assignments and assessments honestly and independently.
Avoid cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty.
4. Respect for Property:
Respect school property, including buildings, equipment, furniture, and
materials.
Refrain from vandalizing, defacing, or damaging school property.
Keep personal belongings secure and tidy.
5. Safety and Security:
Follow all safety rules and guidelines provided by teachers and staff.
Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to school authorities immediately.
Refrain from bringing prohibited items onto school premises.
6. Bullying and Harassment:
Treat everyone with kindness and dignity, and stand up against bullying and
harassment.
Report any instances of bullying, harassment, or intimidation to school
authorities.

8. Dress Code:

STUDENTS’ TARDINESS:-
1. Arrive on Time: Students should aim to arrive at school and to each class on time.
2. Use Alarms: Set alarms or reminders to wake up on time in the morning to ensure
you leave home with plenty of time to spare.
3. Know the Schedule: Familiarize yourself with the school schedule, including start
times for classes, assemblies, and other activities. Be aware of any changes or
special events that may affect your schedule.
4. Be Prepared: Pack your backpack and organize your materials the night before to
avoid last-minute delays in the morning.
5. Avoid Distractions: Minimize distractions during your morning routine. Limit
screen time, avoid getting caught up in non-essential tasks, and focus on getting
ready for school.
6. Understand Consequences: Understand the consequences of being tardy, which
may include missed instruction, detention, or other disciplinary action.
7. Communicate: If you anticipate being late due to unforeseen circumstances, such
as transportation issues or a family emergency, communicate with your teacher or
the school office as soon as possible to explain the situation.
8. Make Up Missed Work: If you arrive late to class, catch up on any missed
instructions or assignments as soon as possible. Take responsibility for your
learning and seek assistance from your teacher if needed.
