Rose and Candle Ceremony
Ladies and gentlemen, we now come to one of the most meaningful traditions of the Junior-
Senior Prom—the Rose and Candle Ceremony.
This symbolic rite represents the passing of wisdom, responsibility, and leadership from our
Senior High School students to the Junior High School students.
The rose, handed over by the seniors, is a symbol of growth, passion, and the beautiful journey
of learning. It signifies the experiences, challenges, and triumphs they have embraced
throughout their high school years. As they prepare to step into a new chapter of their lives, they
pass on this token as a reminder of strength and perseverance.
The candle, received by the juniors, represents light, knowledge, and new beginnings. As they
take on greater responsibilities, the flame serves as their guide—a reminder that they, too, will
continue the legacy of leadership, unity, and excellence.
