808 POLYURETHANE
ADHESIVE

QG-808 plus is a single component solvent based heat reactivated polyurethane adhesive specially designed
for sole attachment and footwear industry.

Appearance Transparent,Viscous Liquid


Solid Content 15 + 1 %
Viscosity At 26°C 3500 + 100 cps
Primary Solvent Hydrocarbon
Primary Ingredient Polyurethane

KEY FEATURES

MATERIALS
Adheres to Artificial/Real leather, insole materials, EVA, cork and paperboard etc. Recommended
for PU, PVC, EVA soles and midsoles.

APPLICATION
• Wipe off moisture, oil and all other contaminations from bonding surfaces.

• Use suitable primer prior to ahdesive application. Let it dry for 15 - 20 minutes.

• Apply a thin layer of adhesive on the bonding surfaces evenly. On most bonding surfaces one coat is
normally [Link] for effective bonding on absorbent surfaces two coats may be required.

• Bonding surfaces(substances) should be reactivated with heat at 70 - 80 0C for 5 to 6 minutes. Allow the
bonding surfaces to cool down for 2 seconds before assembly.

• After assembly apply even pressure on the bonding surfaces.

• Final curing time is 24 hours.

Note: It is recommended to rough the smooth and shiny surfaces. Use hardener 3 to 5 % for a stronger, more oil and
water resisitant bond.

STORAGE STABILITY
It has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in original packing in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area. Keep
away from freezing or extreme temperatures.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
It is an inflammable product. Always work in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not
expose product to any ignition source. If product comes in contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly
and immediately with water. Seek medical attention if irritation or discomfort persists. Keep out of
reach of children.
