primarily used when a player is in open space, needs to
cover a large distance, or is on a fast break towards the
goal.
● A low dribble, involves keeping the ball close to the
ground with short, controlled bounces. It is mainly used
when a player is closely guarded by a defender allowing
them to maintain control of the ball and maneuver
through the defender while reducing the risk of losing
possession or having the ball intercepted by an opponent.
Field

resume play if an attacking player is fouled within that area.
● The 7-meter line marks the spot where penalty throws (also
known as 7-meter throws) are taken, awarded when a clear
scoring opportunity is illegally prevented.
● The 6-meter line marks the boundary of the goal area, which is a
restricted zone for all players except the goalkeeper

specifically designed to restrict the goalkeeper's movement
during penalty throws.

on impact.
