Apprenticeship Process:
Implementing an apprenticeship programme in India involves several structured steps, ensuring compliance with
government regulations and efficient management of apprentice data and payments. This guide outlines the key
responsibilities for HR departments collaborating with Geega Corpsol to facilitate the National Apprenticeship
Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
Step 1: Company Registration
Geega Corpsol will initiate the process by registering your company on the official NAPS portal:

to establish your organisation as an eligible employer for apprenticeship programmes, ensuring seamless
integration with the national framework.
Step 2: Apprentice Registration and Contract Generation
Following company registration, Geega Corpsol will manage the individual registration of each apprentice on
the NAPS portal. This includes generating the formal apprenticeship contract between the apprentice and
your company. This ensures all legal and regulatory requirements are met for each new apprentice, formalising
their employment and training terms.
Step 3: Monthly Attendance and Payroll Processing
At the close of each month, your HR department is responsible for sharing the attendance records of all
apprentices with Geega Corpsol. Based on these records, Geega Corpsol will meticulously process the
payroll, providing your HR department with a detailed breakdown. This payroll summary will clearly indicate
the employer's portion of the salary payable to the apprentices and the government's share, which will be
disbursed separately after the employer's payment.
Step 4: Salary Disbursement Protocol
For apprentices under the NAPS, the employer will transfer the total salary amount to the dedicated
employer's portal 'van' account. From this account, Geega Corpsol will facilitate the direct transfer of
salaries to each eligible candidate. In the case of NATS apprentices, the employer will directly transfer
salaries to the employees, and a formal email declaration confirming the payment must be shared with
Geega Corpsol.
Step 5: Government Share Disbursement
Upon confirmation of the employer's salary transfer to the apprentices, Geega Corpsol will promptly initiate
the government's share disbursement process within 24 hours. Apprentices can anticipate receiving the
government's portion of their stipend within 7 to 10 days following this initiation, ensuring timely financial
support for their training period.
