Meeting the Challenges of Education
in the Face to Face Comeback of Teachers and Learners”
Proposal Title
Rationale:
In has been quite some time when learners and teachers were deprived of coming to
school on a regular basis because of the pandemic outbreak. Now that the Covid-19
has gradually subsided, learners and teachers find some adjustment in going back to
school on a regular basis. Now, it is a great opportunity for the Sitio Mindanao
Integrated School faculty members to get back to the normal set up of educational
genre through the In-service Training entitled, “ Meeting the Challenges of Education
in the Face to Face Comeback of Teachers and Learners”
Based on the evaluation of teachers’ development plan, the following topics are the
most relevant topics to be discussed: Mental Health of Education in the Changing
World, Breaking the Barriers on Learning Loss, Adopting Innovative
Strategies ,Applications and Websites for Interactive Teaching, Specific Records
Management Guidelines , and RASA-BASA Orientation
The said activity will be held on February 6-10, 2023 at Sitio Mindanao Integrated
School, Sitio Mindanao, San Esteban, Macabebe, Pampanga. Furthermore, the
school shall follow the strict adherence to basic health protocols for safety measures.
Objective:
Equip teachers on strategies to meet the challenges of education in the face to face
comeback of teachers and learners through:
1. Coping up with mental health issues and addressing stress management in
the work place
2. Doing workshop on instructional materials to address learning loss
3. Applying Website applications for interactive teaching
4. Adopting specific records management Guidelines
5. Conducting the RASA-BASA Program
Target Participants:
Ten faculty members in the elementary department, six faculty members in the high
school department and one school head.
