I.SEASONAL CONDITIONS
1.1. South-West Monsoon-2025: Major Agriculture in AP depends on South-West Monsoon. The South West
Monsoon set over in Kerala on 24th May, 2025 as against the normal date of 1st June as per IMD report (8 days
before the normal date and earliest onset in 17 years after 2009). The Southwest monsoon has entered in Andhra
Pradesh on 26th, May 2025. Light to moderate Rain or Thundershowers likely occurs at one or two places of
Andhra Pradesh.

IV. AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS AND CROP CONDITION.

Seed distribution is under progress. Paddy nursery sowings are under progress. Early sown Paddy is at
transplanting to tillering stage. Early sown Groundnut, Cotton and Sugarcane are at vegetative stage.
