Initialize the Rcom

the following are the commands to initialize the Rcom (In case you get problem with modules
power up)

write to address 100B ---> E195 Rcom init

write to address 100B ----> 0

Then write to address 100B ------> F5 Reset

all the dpu 's will reset ,you have to open the DMS cover in order to see it ..

Rcom Jtag

As you know, the RCOM for Br. 40 , Big Bore and Br.64 is the same RCOM except for JTAG.

If you order an RCOM most probable you will get an Br.40 RCOM and unless you are working
on a 40 slice you will have to burn it.

If you are trying to burn it into an Br. 64 from the host you will not succeed. There is a s/w
problem that prevents you from doing so.
If you try to burn it into any other system (Br.40 or Big Bore) you will have no problems.

Solution:
Prior to enter Controller utilities, navigate to C:\Program Files\RCOM_Utils\ and execute the
program RCOM [Link]
Select Nominal
On the General tab select Register 1002 and write the Value of 1003
Enter Controller Utilities, and follow the JTAG procedure as outlined in the document in
InCenter.

If you do not modify the register value as above you will not be able to replace the RCOM. This
is a problem in Orion only and will be corrected on future s/w versions.
