Physics Notes

The document outlines the basic principles of mechanics in physics, focusing on Newton's three laws. Newton's First Law states that objects remain at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. The Second Law relates acceleration to mass and force (F = m * a), while the Third Law asserts that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Basic Physics Notes: Mechanics

Newton's First Law

An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion at the same speed and in the
same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Newton's Second Law

The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied. It can
be expressed as F = m * a.

Newton's Third Law

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
