PRE-COMMISSIONING CHECKLIST

The following must be checked before starting:1. Pumpset is placed on a flat strong foundation anchor bolts. 2. Suction/discharge piping are correctly aligned & no strain is imposed upon the pump casing. 3. Check alignment of pump and driver are correct. 4. Ensure that all pipelines are free from foreign bodies (such as weld spatter, screw, steel chips etc). 5. All suction and discharge valves are open. 6. Before switching on the pump, ensure pump is filled with liquid. 7. Rotating direction of the pump and driver are correct. 8. Check all cable termination are correctly installed. 9. Check electrical continuity and cable insulation. 10. Check allinstrumentation are installed as indicated in P&ID.
