Car Price Prediction Using Machine Learning:
. This project aimed to predict the prices of used cars using machine learning, leveraging a Random Forest model for accurate
predictions.
. The dataset, stored in a CSV file, included features such as car make, model, year of manufacture, mileage, engine capacity, fuel type,
and transmission type.
. Key processes involved data cleaning to handle missing values and duplicates, feature engineering to encode categorical data and
normalize numerical values, and data modeling by splitting the dataset into training and testing sets (80%-20%).
. The Random Forest model was trained and evaluated, achieving high accuracy with an R² score of 0.85.
