Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: Application for Civil Engineer Position

I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying for a Civil Engineer position at the
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). As a licensed Civil Engineer with relevant
academic background and current experience in a local government unit, I am eager to contribute
to the development of infrastructure projects that serve the Filipino people.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Catanduanes State University in

2023 and successfully passed the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination shortly thereafter.
During my academic years, I gained technical skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and STAAD Pro,
and I also completed my on-the-job training at AFC Builders, where I assisted in basic site
supervision, estimation, and construction documentation.

In my previous role as Administrative Aide IV (Clerk II) at LGU-Caramoran, I was

responsible for supporting a wide range of administrative and infrastructure-related tasks,
including documentation, reporting, and inter-office coordination. This experience provided me
with valuable exposure to government processes and allowed me to build a strong foundation in
both the technical and administrative aspects of civil engineering within a public sector setting.

I am passionate about serving in the public sector and believe that the DPWH offers the ideal
environment for me to grow as a professional while contributing to meaningful infrastructure
projects in our region. I am hardworking, responsible, and open to continuous learning. I am also
willing to be assigned to fieldwork or wherever my service is most needed.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of working with the
Department of Public Works and Highways.

Sincerely,

Missy Valespin
Licensed Civil Engineer
