Nichiren taught that chanting Nam myo ho renge kyo is the fastest and most

effective way to tap into our Buddha nature the pure wise and compassionate part of
ourselves. He wrote when you chant Nam myo ho renge kyo you should have faith that
this is the seed of buddhahood this means that every time we chant we're planting
seeds of happiness and success in our lives.
It isn't just about making wishes come true it's about transforming ourselves from
the inside out when we chant we're not asking some outside force to grant our
wishes instead we're waking up the incredible power that's been inside us all
along.

as we chant we start to uncover the amazing potential that's been hiding inside you
all along. The idea of actual proof is super important in this practice it's not
enough to just believe that chanting works we want to see real results in our lives
Nichiren said the true way to repay the Buddha kindness is to manifest actual proof
this means that when we practice sincerely we should start to notice positive
changes happening around us these changes might be big or small. For eg:- we might
gain confidence, we might get ideas regarding our work.

Nichiren Buddhism is often called the ‘True Teaching’ because its principles work
and can be proven through actual experience. By chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and
applying Buddhist wisdom in our lives, we can uncover proof that validates this
practice. The Daishonin declared, “It is like a gold mine. You dig into it, looking
for gold, and you get ever so much gold.” When we ‘dig into’ this practice by
chanting abundantly, we will gain actual proof of its effectiveness as we amass
inner riches of enlightenment.

Actual proof is the real evidence that our practice is working, but here's the
thing manifesting our desires through Nam myo ho renge kyo isn't about getting
everything we want instantly. It's more like planting a garden, when you plant a
seed, you don't expect a full grown tree the next day, you need to water it make
sure it gets sunlight and be patient. Chanting is
similar we're planting seeds of change in our lives and with consistent practice
those seeds will grow into beautiful results. The Lotus Sutra which is the basis
for the practice of Nam myo ho renge kyo talks about this idea of gradual growth,
it uses the example of rain falling from the sky. The rain falls equally on all
types of plants and trees according to each one's nature and kind, it enables them
to sprout and grow this means that the benefits of chanting will show up in
different ways for different people. But everyone can experience growth and
positive change.
Sometimes people worry that wanting things for themselves is selfish but Nichiren
Daishonin taught that there's nothing wrong with having Desires in fact our desires
can be the fuel that drives us to make positive changes in the world. He said
suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy, regard both suffering
and joy as Facts of Life this means we should embrace all parts of our lives in
including our wants and wishes as opportunities for growth. The key is to focus on
becoming our best selves while we work towards our goals. When we chant Nam myo ho
renge kyo we're not just asking for stuff, we're also asking for the wisdom to use
what we receive in ways that help others. It's like the old saying give a man a
fish and you feed him for a day teach a man to fish and you feed him for a
lifetime. Chanting helps us learn how to fish to tap into our own wisdom and
strength to create lasting happiness. Buddhism teaches that the same power which
moves the universe exists within our lives. Each individual has the power to change
the world.
********************************

The Daishonin wrote, “Faith means that you honestly believe this in your heart. It
does not mean you merely pretend to believe with your mouth.” As actual proof
accumulates from experience, our belief becomes increasingly unshakable. Seeing
actual results in challenging situations verifies the Mystic Law on a profound
level. For example, someone struggling with illness who chants abundantly and then
recovers has gained actual proof of daimoku’s power. As we accumulate actual
proof, our vision expands and confidence grows. We realize the unlimited power
contained in Nam-myoho-renge-kyo to awaken our inherent Buddhahood. Sharing
experiences with others in our Buddhist community also builds faith.

The Daishonin affirmed, “If you make strenuous efforts and chant Nam-myoho-renge-
kyo, you are certain to attain Buddhahood.” When chanting becomes our daily rhythm,
actual proof steadily accumulates over the decades into an undeniable force. With
consistent practice, we come to understand at the core of our being that Nam-myoho-
renge-kyo contains supreme enlightenment. The Daishonin assured his followers,
“Never falter in your faith.” Maintaining such conviction allows us to lead
abundant, contributive lives dedicated to kosen-rufu. In contrast, when faith is
shallow, obstacles that arise shake our practice and make us susceptible to doubt.

The Daishonin admonished, “Do not carry doubts in your heart.” When challenges
occur on the path of faith, we must confront them head-on through courageous action
and triumphant daimoku. Each victory strengthens us for the next. In this way,
actual proof serves as a ladder as we climb to new heights of enlightened
wisdom, compassion and life condition.

The Daishonin said, “One who keeps chanting will see three feet and eight inches
ahead, then will be able to see three hundred miles, and in the end will attain the
wisdom to see all things.”
The Mystic Law works within us.
