A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11148, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE
"KALUSUGAN AT NUTRISYON NG MAG-NANAY ACT" (KANNA) WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION OF BRGY. STO. NIÑO II
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11148, otherwise known as the "Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-
Nanay Act" (KANNA), is an act providing for a comprehensive maternal, neonatal, child health
and nutrition program aimed at promoting the health and well-being of mothers and their
children from pregnancy up to six (6) years of age;
WHEREAS, the Barangay recognizes the importance of ensuring the well-being and nutritional
needs of pregnant and lactating women, as well as their infants, for the overall health and
development of the community;
WHEREAS, the Barangay is committed to supporting and implementing programs and initiatives
that promote the health and welfare of mothers and children;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Flordeliza M. Canoy, duly made and seconded by all
Kagawad present, be it- - -
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, in session assembled, to adopt Republic Act No. 11148,
otherwise known as the "Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-Nanay Act" (KANNA), and to fully
support its implementation within the territorial jurisdiction of Brgy. Sto. Niño II.
ADOPTED this 7th day of January 2024 at Barangay Sto. Niño II, City of Dasmariñas, Cavite.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all authorities concerned
for their information and appropriate action.

of the prevalence rate
of the severely wasted
and overweight school
children at the end of school
year;

projects with corresponding
action plans
including budgetary
requirements were carefully
reviewed by this body,
and were all found to
be IN ORDER and beneficial
to our constituents ,
thereby supporting
