among the dazzling candidates, will shine on stage? Who will claim the crown? To find
out, there’s only one way towards. Together, let us all witness… a parade of beauties, a
battle of wit, and a show-off of composure… Ladies and gentlemen welcome to The
Search for Mr. and Miss JFA 2024.
(Pause for 5 seconds) Let’s call on our hosts, Ms. Rein Janelle Cuma and Mr. Franz
Gallant Bartolome. (applause)
Franz: (ad-lib necessary) Good afternoon, everyone! Hello Rein, you’re irresistibly
ravishing in your outfit today. Wow!
RJ: (ad-lib necessary) Oh, thanks, Franz. You, too, are undeniably dashing.
Franz: Thanks! It feels like I’m one of the candidates. Do you feel it too?
RJ: Oh, well, I do. Truly, this is a much-awaited event here in this institution that after
years of longing, the most coveted crowns are back.
Franz: Yes! Indeed, I can feel the excitement. But the question is, who will stand out,
and who will bring home the titles?
RJ: To quench our thirst, let’s not prolong the anticipation, and let’s not keep our
audience waiting. Behold, as the College of Agriculture, Food and Sustainable
Development. –Forestry Department presents to us, who will be this year’s archetype of
goodwill and a role model.
Franz: Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to welcome our equally deserving
candidates? If you are, let us all cheer up with a resounding applause. Here are the 16
royalties in their Production Number.
C. Production Number and Self-introduction
RJ: What a mesmerizing production number! Each of them is auspicious in inching his
or her way to the crown. And now, are you ready to hear who will be the first recipients
of awards? I can’t hear you, are you ready? Well, the list is in my hand. Let’s unveil the
first set of awardees starting with... Mr. and Miss Congeniality.

Franz: That’s right RJ. The board of judges has probably the hardest task this
afternoon. So, let’s recognize each of them. To introduce them, may we call on the
adviser of JFA Forester Sarurnina C. Tanginay.
RJ: There you have them, ladies and gentlemen the panel whose expertise will give us
the lucky Mr. and Miss JFA 2024.
Franz: To help them in selecting who among them will stand out, here are the Criteria
for judging (read the criteria)
Franz: At this juncture, may we take an opportunity to express gratitude for those who

RJ: Before we continue the competition, may we hear a message from our Dean Dr.
Charlie B. Batin.
Franz: Thank you so much, sir. Let's now invite Erica and Carl John to captivate us with
their voices, followed by a thrilling performance from our JFA Dancers.
Franz: And we’re back to the pageant show-off. Forestry has been a vital part of society
specifically in the management of the environment. To showcase their creativity, let’s
welcome back the candidates in their one-of-a-kind spectacular performance- the battle
for the best in creative attires.
D. CREATIVE ATTIRE Competition
RJ: What a superb parade of gods and goddesses! Who among them flaunted the
finest Creative Attire? Let’s get to know in a moment.
Franz: But for now, let us also know who’ll bring home the first minor awards. Next is for
the candidates who exude mastery and grace in the production number.

RJ: There you have it ladies and gentlemen, at this juncture, may we listen to Ms. Erica
in her rendition of Perfect.
RJ: Thank you so much, guys. At this juncture, may we again express our sincerest
appreciation to the groups and persons whom we are gratefully glad for their invaluable
contributions.

RJ: Of course, this event wouldn’t be possible without the efforts and sacrifices of the
pioneer organizations who spent untiring days preparing. Firstly, may we give thanks to
the Junior Foresters Association headed by the dynamic president Merry Joy Fuentes
and not to forget, the ever-blooming adviser Ms. Sarurnina Tangiday. Correspondingly,
let us also give thanks to the faculty members of the FORESTRY department for

Franz: Wow! Such a fabulous display of nationalistic wear detailing fabulous gowns and
men's suits. Well, they are all exquisite and that is because of the creative minds of the
designers. Thank you very much.
RJ: We’re down with one of the most awaited portions of this pageant. As they say,
beauty and talent should be wrapped with intellect to achieve perfection. Let’s know
what the candidates have got through the question-and-answer segment.
Franz: For the information of everybody each of the candidates will pick a certain photo
and they will define it, which he/she will answer in a minute. May I request the audience
to please refrain from shouting or catcalling while a candidate is answering? Thank you.
