IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS BY THE STUDENT

Two (2) helpful guides that improve efficiency in water production without taking
shortcut that reduce quality are:

1. HUMAN RESOURCES

Having the right people in the right roles is necessary for maximum effectiveness
in the water factory. Everyone needs to know the scope of their roles and have
the education and experience to carry them out without too much additional
learning. However, it is also important that they continue to learn, gain
experience and remain motivated to achieve their goals. The leadership in the
water factory needs to ensure that the staff and students have everything
required to carry out their roles and preserve high levels of morale. They will also
need to maintain the cohesiveness of team and good communication between
staff and trainees (students).

2. EQUIPMENTS (MACHINES) OPTIMIZATION

Having the best possible equipment’s or machines in the water factory will help
to increase productivity and quality. Machines should always be maintained as
instructed by the manufacturer and kept in clean, fully working condition. By
doing this, you should stop it from breaking down during operation and causing
unnecessary work delay and output. Place fixed machines in such a position that
they don’t require too much space, is easy to set up and use, and all other items
needed for the machines are easily accessible.
