Edgar is great at making

friends. He can collaborate


with anybody. He shows
concern for his friends and the
world. Edgar is confident, he
believes in himself and knows
the difference between right
and wrong. He is able to listen
to others and is willing to
change his ideas if he thinks
their idea is better.
Anita has an enquiring mind.
She takes risks and is open-
minded in her thinking. She
understands the need to listen
to others and take their advice
if she believes they are right.
She is creative and
enterprising and is willing to
invent new ways to solve
problems.
Hannah is such a hard worker. She
realises that when something is
hard, you shouldn’t give up but
you should persevere until you
have achieved your goal. Even
when there are set backs, Hannah
is resilient, she remains confident
and optimistic. She also helps
others stay focused.
Liam is amazing at linking things
together. He listens to other
peoples views and loves to work
with big ideas. He is great at
forming generalisations from past
experiences that could apply to
other situations. He is also good at
seeing alternative perspectives.
His real talent lies in taking
concrete ideas and moving into
abstract ideas.
Maryam approaches new
learning experiences by
connecting what she already
knows. She uses a wide range of
thinking skills. She can
confidently explain her decisions
when solving problems and is
good at monitoring, evaluating
and self-correcting. She likes to
express her personal views based
on evidence.
Anna is great at asking the right
questions to solve problems.
She looks carefully at problems
and thinks logically and
critically to find solutions. She
likes to be precise and tries
hard to find the best way to do
things. Anna is very good at
working within the rules.
Raif is good at the things he
does, he doesn’t even have
to think about them. It
wasn’t always this way, he
has practiced so often they
are now automatic. He can
do lots of things with speed
and accuracy.
Curtis loves to be playful with
his thinking, he likes to bend
the rules to make something
original. He is flexible and
fluent, he doesn’t mind if he
has to change his ideas for
better ones as he has so many!
He is always using what he
already knows to think up new
things to solve new problems.
