Dangers in and around water.

INSTRUCTIONS:

● Collect information and pictures about the topic of


your project outside class time.

● Use books, internet, magazines, news papers, etc.

● You will complete the project during class time.

● The assessment criteria will be discussed with you.

● You will do an oral report to the class on your findings.

ACTIVITIES. STEP:1

● Design a cover page for the project. It must include


your name, Topic of the project, Grade and the date.

● Collect THREE articles and/or pictures (e.g.


newspaper, magazines, etc.) about safety in and around
water.

● Bring them to class to complete the questions and to


do your oral presentation.

(Write your information carefully and neatly).

Most drowning occur in rivers, dams and swimming pools.

1. Use TWO of your collected articles on drowning to


describe what happened.

2. Do you think that the drowning could have been

prevented? Explain how you think it could have been


prevented.
