an age group and design a play experience that will meet the four holistic play-based goals. Explain how each

examples of which are achieved by this activity, are:Well-being: It grows and enhances

My job as a play educator is to make sure kids feel liberated, safe, and encouraged to
perform any play or activity in an open-ended way.I will keep play equipment in repair and put
toys and games where a child can get to them easily.I will choose toys and games depending
on the age and capabilities of the children. The play space will contain quiet areas where
children can rest when necessary. The play space will be easy to monitor. The play area will
have different zones to play puzzles, building blocks, drawing, painting, and a reading
corner.My demonstration of different things will help in problem-solving, imaginative play, and
more learning to let children’s minds flourish. When a child stumbles in play, I will provide
help and encourage them with positive reinforcement.I’ll also provide opportunities for group
play which will help children develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and making
friends. My aim is to build confidence, cooperation, and love of learning in each child.

Toys and activities are beneficial for the developmental stages of children. Each toy has its
own importance in promoting gross and motor skills.Tricycles, softballs, soft mats for
crawling and jumping are toys that provide physical activity.Building blocks, puzzles, shape
sorters are toys which could help in cognitive and problem-solving skills.Crayons, paints,
playdough are creative toys which promote fine motor activities like drawing, painting, and
making art pieces and help with hand-eye coordination.
Musical toys such as drums, xylophones, keyboards offer opportunities for children to
express feelings and thoughts.Team games like hide and seek are games played in a group
which teach children to share, take turns, and work cooperatively with others. These games
promote confidence through working together.Toys and activities are not just for fun but also
build character and keep one's self-esteem up.
