Friendship Day Assembly Anchoring Script

1. Anchoring – Gousiya Fatima

"Good morning to our respected Principal Sir, teachers, and dear friends. Today, we have
gathered to celebrate a very special occasion – Friendship Day. Friends are the family we
choose, and they make our journey of life more meaningful and joyful. Let us begin today’s
assembly by moving thought of the day.

2. Thought of the Day – Masifa

Anchor (Gousiya):

"Every new day begins with a fresh thought that inspires us. I would now like to invite Masifa
to share the Thought of the Day with us."

(Masifa shares the thought and explains its meaning.)

Anchor:

"Thank you, Masifa, for this wonderful thought that highlights the true essence of friendship
and positivity."

3. Speech – Alisha

Anchor:

"Now, to make this occasion more meaningful, I invite Alisha to deliver a speech on
Friendship Day."

(Alisha gives her speech.)

Anchor:

"Thank you, Alisha, for those touching words. Indeed, friendship is the bond that
strengthens us in every stage of life."

4. News – Anam

Anchor:

"Next, to keep ourselves updated with what is happening around us and across the world, I
invite Anam to present today’s news."

(Anam reads the news.)

Anchor:
"Thank you, Anam, for keeping us informed."

5. G.K. Quiz – Aliaha

Anchor:

"Friendship is also about learning together and sharing knowledge. Now, let’s move to an
interactive and fun part of our assembly – the G.K. Quiz. I invite Aliaha to conduct the quiz."

(Aliaha asks quiz questions and students participate.)

Anchor:

"That was really exciting and knowledgeable. Thank you, Aliaha."

6. Pledge – Mahima / Ayat

Anchor:

"Now, let’s take the pledge to remind ourselves of our duties as responsible students and
citizens of our country. I invite Mahima / Ayat to lead us in the National Pledge."

(Mahima/Ayat leads the pledge.)

7. National Anthem

Anchor:

"Now, let us all stand in attention and with respect for the pride of our nation – our National
Anthem."

(National Anthem is sung.)

Closing – Gousiya Fatima

"With this, we come to the end of our Friendship Day assembly. Let us always cherish the
gift of friendship and spread love, unity, and kindness wherever we go. Thank you everyone,
and have a wonderful day ahead."
