Preparation
Choose a micropipette suitable for your desired volume range and attach a compatible
sterile tip securely.
Turn the volume adjustment dial until the desired volume is displayed on the micropipette.
Ensure the pipette tip is free from cracks or defects to avoid leaks.
Drawing the Liquid
Keep the pipette vertical or at a slight angle (~10°) when aspirating liquid.
Submerge the tip just below the liquid surface (2-3 mm) to prevent air bubbles.
Press the plunger to the first stop before immersing the tip.
Slowly release the plunger to aspirate the liquid without introducing air bubbles.
Dispensing the Liquid
Touch the tip to the side of the container or above the target surface at an angle.
Press the plunger to the first stop to dispense the liquid.
Press to the second stop to expel any remaining liquid completely.
Withdraw the tip from the solution while still holding the plunger down to avoid drawing
back liquid.
After Use
Use the ejector button to safely dispose of the used tip in a biohazard container.
