International Mathematical Olympiad – Australia 2025

The Australian Maths Trust (AMT) is pleased to formally invite you to attend the 66th
International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2025), being held from 10 July 2025 to 20 July 2025
on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

You have been invited as an official representative of your country to contest the event or
support students contesting the event, depending on the role above.

The AMT is the host organisation for IMO 2025 and can confirm the following support for your
attendance, according to the Annual Regulations:

• Transportation between the arrival/departure sites and official event sites


• Accommodation during your stay
• Meals during your stay

The above expenses will be derived from the IMO 2025 budget for the event.

Please note that the decision to issue a visa is within the sole judgment of the local embassy or
consulate in consultation with the Australian Department of Home Affairs. This letter of invitation
does not imply any financial responsibility for AMT outside the support expressly listed above.

We look forward to seeing you in Australia later this year.
