GUIDELINES ON SELECTION OF DEALERS FOR Reliance BP Mobility Limited (Jio-bp)

1. INTRODUCTION
India’s energy needs are growing rapidly, and petroleum retail outlets play a vital role
in ensuring the e icient and widespread distribution of fuel across the country. In line
with our commitment to provide future mobility, Jio-bp invites applications for the
merit-based selection of eligible candidates to set up new petroleum retail outlets at
identified locations. The brochure provides comprehensive information regarding
eligibility criteria, application process and other terms and conditions.

2. IDENTIFICATION OF LOCATIONS
We are looking for successful businesspersons with strong local connections and
good Networth, who are interested in obtaining RO dealership and have suitable land
parcels situated along Highways (National Highways (NH)/ State Highways (SH)),
Cities (within municipal limits) and other roads.

3. TYPE OF RETAIL OUTLET (RO)

DODO – Dealer Owned Dealer Operated

4. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
a. Application form (to be filled by Proprietor & in case applying entity is
partnership firm each partner to fill a separate form)
b. Latest Networth Statement certificated by CA on his Letter Head with valid
UDIN
c. KYC documents i.e., PAN, Aadhar card & Education certificate.
d. A idavit cum Declaration
e. Land Documents-
i. Title Document: Certified copy of registered Sale deed/ registered Gift
deed/ registered lease deed
ii. Mutation Document: 7/12/ khata-khatauni, Index 2, Rin -Pustika etc.

5. EXCLUSION
The following people will not be considered for Dealership.
a. Signatory to retail outlet dealership of any other Oil Marketing Company (OMC).
b. Mentally unsound / totally paralyzed.
c. Convicted for any criminal o ence by a court of law.

 6. FACILITIES REQUIRED FOR OPERATION OF MOBILITY STATION
The following important facilities are required to be provided & maintained by Dealer
as per the specifications of company.

Horticulture.

Working capital, Cost towards Statutory Approvals and other site-specific costs will be in
addition to the cost mentioned above.

8. STATUTORY APPROVALS / NOCs / LICENSES:

The List of Statutory Approval is as under:
a. DMNOC (includes Tehsildar, Fire Dept., Town Planning / Dev. Authority, Forest
dept. Pollution Control Board, Irrigation Dept., Airport Authority, Gram
Panchayat etc.)
b. PESO
c. NH/ PWD (As applicable)
d. SEB/Telephone/Water

f. Weights & Measures.
g. Other (State Specific approvals like RSL, as per the applicable)

9. SELECTION PROCESS
i. The Expression of Interest (EOI) received on our portal https://partners.jiobp.in/
shall be evaluated location wise and sent to respective Filed Manager.
ii. Applicant must complete the application process as outlined in the email they
will receive after registering your EOI.
iii. On completion of application process, the Field Manager shall get in touch with
the applicant on the mobile number registered in the portal to have a one-on-
one meeting along with site visit.
iv. Evaluation of Documents submitted.
v. Final Interview: Interaction of candidate with inter disciplinary Committee for
selection of suitable candidate.
vi. Letter of Intent (LOI) is issued to Selected candidate.

10. LETTER OF INTENT (LOI)

Letter of Intent (LOI) requires the selected candidate to fulfill certain terms and
conditions within a specified timeframe. Upon successful completion of these
requirements, Dealership and Lease Agreement will be executed, followed by
commencement of construction, and commissioning of the Retail Outlet.

11. TENURE OF DEALERSHIP & LEASE AGREEMENT

The tenure of Lease and Dealership would be 30 years.

12. COMMISSIONING OF RETAILOUT /OPEN TO PUBLIC (OTP)

Upon availability of all required statutory approvals and completion of construction

the Retail Outlet will be Commissioned i.e., will be made Open to Public for start of
sales.

13. APPLICATION FEE

Non-Refundable Application fee of Rs. 5000/- (inclusive of applicable GST) is to be

paid while submitting Expression of Interest (EOI) in the portal

14. DOCUMENT PROCESSING CHARGES

Non-Refundable documentation and processing charges of Rs. 3.54 Lacs (Rs. 3 Lacs
+ 18% GST) shall be paid through Demand Draft in favor of Reliance BP Mobility
Limited before final interview for Dealership. The said Demand Draft will be deposited
and accounted upon issuance of Letter of Intent (LOI). For applicants who are not
selected, the DD/ amount will be returned or refunded.

15. SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD)

A Refundable non-interest-bearing Security Deposit (SD) shall be paid to company as
per the terms and conditions contained in the LOI. Retail Outlet (RO) Model wise SD is
as below.

16. GENERAL CONDITIONS

i. The Applicant should carefully go through the brochure before submitting
application.
ii. Application will be processed on first come first served basis; in case of
multiple applications, the committee will decide on the most suitable
candidate.
iii. During the course of the advertisement period, upon issuance of a Letter of
Intent (LOI) for any given location, such location shall be designated as
‘Application Closed’, and no further applications shall be entertained or
accepted for the said location.
iv. List of Documents to be submitted will be as advised by company.
v. A idavit cum Declaration to be submitted in original.

 vi. This is purely a business proposition and has normal business risks which do
not guarantee any assured returns or profits.
vii. In case of any discrepancy in advertisement published, the
direction/information indicated on the website would prevail.
viii. Submission of application is not an o er of RO Dealership.
ix. If any false information is found to be furnished by the applicant in the
application form or declaration, the application is liable to be rejected without
any explanation.
x. The company reserves the right to cancel/withdraw/ amend this advertisement
or extend the due date at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.

their application or any related process.
