Hey Teacher!
It’s back to school time and we’re so excited for you!
It’s time to purchase your art supplies, plan your back-to-school
program and structure your year so that both you and your students can
walk in refreshed, ready and excited to create art.
But if all that sounds bit daunting, not to worry. This FREE back to
school guide will walk you through the foundational steps of
getting prepared for the year.
Step One: Order your supplies. We created TWO lists for you. One
for basic materials every art room should have and one for the extra’s
that you can purchase as your budget allows.
Step Two: We created a Scope & Sequence of the Elements of Art for
K-7 that details what your students will learn as they work through each element
throughout the year. Also included are project suggestions straight from our newly
refreshed EPIC art curriculum from the Sparklers’ Club (learn more about how to access
this curriculum on page 23).
Step Three: Just in time for back-to-school night, print our What I’ll Learn Sheets for
each grade level to hand out to parents. These printable offer grade level art guidelines
based on the Elements of Art and pair perfectly with the Scope & Sequence documents.
This is just a small taste of the resources inside The Sparklers’ Club membership
that are available to you.
