Make Your english self guide

The acumen of English turned the taciturn

students into loquacious speakers.
Words That Weave the World
Some are astute, sharp, and wise,
With acumen that opens eyes.
They show flair and ingenuity,
Turning dreams to certainty.

Their judgment guides with steady hand,

A vision bold, a mind so grand.
With insight, sense, and savoir faire,
They lead with wisdom everywhere.

Some stay quiet, cold, and still,

Speaking little, by their will.
Aloof, reserved, or withdrawn,
Silent watchers from dusk to dawn.

They stand distant, detached, and mute,

Or reticent when words don’t suit.
A taciturn, unforthcoming soul,
Keeping secrets, staying whole.

Yet some are loquacious, free and bright,

With endless words from morn to night.
Chatty, gushing, full of cheer,
Filling rooms with talk sincere.
Verbose and wordy, long they speak,
Their voices echo week to week.
With blathering tales and rambling thought,
They share it all, no word forgot.

Some love silence, some love sound,

Each in turn the world goes 'round.
Be you shrewd or full of gab,
Your voice is yours, and that’s not bad.

*Speech on Life Lessons and Success*

Good morning everyone,

Life is a journey where we all must *find our feet, gaining confidence
**by and by* as we move forward. However, in this fast-paced world,
we often forget the simple truth that *haste makes waste. Rushing
into things without proper planning can lead to failure, but remember,
**slow and steady wins the race*.

Opportunities in life are not always *a dime a dozen. Some challenges

we face may be **a hard nut to crack, but when we stay determined
and **start from scratch, we can achieve great things. **Creative
people never get bored* because they always find new ways to
innovate and improve.

Sometimes, life can leave us *in the lurch, making us feel abandoned
and lost. But we must **never miss the bus—seizing every
opportunity that comes our way. In fact, we should **make the most
of every opportunity, because success comes to those who take
action. After all, **no pain, no gain*—hard work and effort are the
only paths to success.

In business and life, one of our primary goals is to *gain ends, or in

other words, make a profit. However, in the pursuit of success, we
must learn to **hold our horses, be patient, and act wisely.
**Increasing aplomb, or self-confidence, is key to overcoming
obstacles. If we lack confidence, we must actively work to **increase
confidence* in ourselves and our abilities.

At times, we need to *catechize—ask deep and meaningful

questions—to understand things better. Having the **gift of gab* can
also help, as the ability to speak well can open doors to many
opportunities. However, we must be cautious of those who *change
colors*, switching their loyalty for their own benefit.

Life is full of struggles, but at the end of the day, we must wipe away
our sweat and keep moving forward. There will be times when we
need to *bite the bullet, enduring difficulties with courage.
Sometimes, success demands that we **burn the midnight oil*,
working tirelessly toward our goals.

To build relationships and collaborations, we must learn to *break the

ice* and communicate openly. When solving problems, we must *hit
the nail on the head, identifying the root cause instead of focusing on
unnecessary details. Success also requires us to **jump on the
bandwagon*, keeping up with trends and innovations.

But not everything is easy. There will be moments when we feel like
*throwing in the towel, ready to give up. However, worrying too much
about the past is pointless—crying over spilled milk* won’t change
what’s already done. Instead, we must *keep our chin up* and keep
pushing forward.

If you ever find yourself in a difficult situation, don’t hesitate to ask for
help—*a penny for your thoughts* can lead to great advice. Be careful
not to *burn bridges, as relationships are valuable in personal and
professional life. On tough days, you may feel **under the weather,
but don’t let it slow you down. **Cut to the chase* and focus on what
truly matters.
Sometimes, failures are *a blessing in disguise—they teach us lessons
that help us grow. But beware—don’t **let the cat out of the bag*
and reveal secrets too soon. Also, learn to *throw caution to the wind*
at times, taking calculated risks when necessary.

Most importantly, we must *face the music, accepting responsibility

for our actions. Remember, **the ball is in your court—your success
depends on the choices you make. Avoid **beating around the bush*
when discussing important matters, and always be mindful in sensitive
situations—*walking on eggshells* can help avoid unnecessary
conflicts.

Lastly, never treat others unfairly, because one day, you might *get a
taste of your own medicine*.

/////////////////////
It was a chilly morning when Jake walked into the café, spotting his
best friend, Lucas, sitting at their usual table. Lucas looked deep in
thought, stirring his coffee absentmindedly.
“Hey, Lucas,” Jake greeted, taking a seat. “You look like someone who
could use a penny for your thoughts.”
Lucas sighed. “Jake, life is a journey, but lately, I feel like I’m stuck. I’m
trying to start my own business, but honestly, it’s a hard nut to crack.”
Jake nodded. “I hear you. But you know what they say—slow and
steady wins the race. If you rush into things without proper planning,
you’ll just prove that haste makes waste.”
Lucas chuckled. “True, but opportunities aren’t exactly a dime a
dozen. I feel like I’ll miss the bus if I don’t act fast.”
Jake leaned forward. “I get it. But success doesn’t come overnight. No
pain, no gain, right? You need to stay determined and start from
scratch if necessary.”
Lucas sipped his coffee and exhaled. “Maybe you’re right. But every
time I feel like I’m gaining confidence, something knocks me back. It’s
like life is leaving me in the lurch.”
Jake smiled. “That’s normal. You just need to hold your horses and
focus. And honestly, increasing aplomb is key. The more confident you
are, the easier it gets.”
Lucas grinned. “Big words there, buddy. Maybe I should catechize you
and learn more.”
Jake laughed. “Ask away! But honestly, the gift of gab helps. If you can
communicate well, you’ll get far in business.”
Lucas nodded. “Yeah, but I need to be careful. Some people change
colors when money is involved.”
Jake’s expression turned serious. “That’s true. But remember, if you
ever feel like throwing in the towel, don’t. Crying over spilled milk
won’t help. Keep your chin up and push forward.”
Lucas smiled. “Thanks, man. I think I just needed a little pep talk.
Maybe I should burn the midnight oil and get this business plan done.”
Jake chuckled. “That’s the spirit! And don’t forget, sometimes failures
are a blessing in disguise.”
Lucas nodded. “You’re right. But I have to be careful not to let the cat
out of the bag too soon. Timing is everything.”
Jake grinned. “Exactly. And sometimes, you need to throw caution to
the wind and take a risk.”
Lucas laughed. “I think I just need to face the music and start making
decisions.”
Jake raised his coffee cup. “Now you’re talking! The ball is in your
court, my friend.”
Lucas lifted his cup as well. “Thanks, Jake. I think I just needed
someone to remind me to stop beating around the bush and take
action.”
Jake smirked. “Just don’t go walking on eggshells when it’s time to
make the big moves.”
Lucas chuckled. “Noted. And I’ll remember not to treat people
unfairly—I wouldn’t want to get a taste of my own medicine later.”
They clinked their coffee cups together, ready to face whatever
challenges lay ahead.

*Speech on Growth, Patience, and Self-Discovery*

*Here we go!* Life is a journey full of lessons, challenges, and

opportunities. Sometimes, success seems within our grasp, yet we
must remember, *there is many a slip between the cup and the lip—
unexpected hurdles can still arise. During such moments, we may
**have qualms, questioning our abilities and choices. But let me
assure you, your journey defines you. **You will be what you were*,
because every effort you put in today shapes your tomorrow.

Success doesn’t just come from dreaming—it comes from being *in
the field, gaining experience, and learning from real-life situations. As
I stand here, memories are **coming to memory, reminding me of all
the struggles and lessons that have made me stronger. But through it
all, one thing remains important: being **considerate* towards
others and ourselves. We must be patient with our progress and
acknowledge that growth takes time.

At times, people might misunderstand our intentions, but *don’t take

me otherwise—my goal is to inspire, not criticize. Some believe that
**knowledge makes no difference, but in reality, knowledge, when
applied correctly, changes lives. The first step toward success is to
**discover yourself*—to understand your true potential and work
towards fulfilling it.

However, always stay alert because not everything is as it seems. If

something feels wrong, *smell a rat* and proceed with caution. In
professional and personal life, it’s crucial to *try to be formal* when
required, as respect and etiquette open many doors. But remember,
success *does not happen overnight. Patience, persistence, and hard
work are the foundation of all great achievements. **Take my words*,
trust the process, and keep moving forward.

To truly improve, *it’s a must* to step out of our comfort zones and
take on new challenges. If you ever find yourself struggling, don’t
hesitate to *try to help me out, and I will do the same for you. Growth
is a shared journey, and we must bring out the **best of me* and the
best in each other. Every individual has unique strengths—*explore
yourself, push your boundaries, and embrace change. **I will see a
change* in myself, and I encourage you to do the same.
*Let’s start* today with a fresh mindset. Learn from past mistakes
because *once beaten, twice shy—we should be cautious and avoid
repeating errors. If something no longer serves you, sometimes it’s
best to **leave it* behind and move forward. Important lessons
should be *committed to memory*, as they guide us through life’s
challenges.

Obstacles may leave us feeling *beaten black and blue, but resilience
is what makes us stronger. When we speak of determination and hard
work, **we mean it—success demands sincerity and commitment.
Take a moment, even if it’s **just for a moment, to appreciate how
far you’ve come. Always **follow courtesy*, because kindness and
respect will take you far in life.

Yet, there will be times when things seem *all in vain, when your hard
work doesn’t pay off immediately. But never lose hope. Keep striving
forward. As the saying goes, **work, teacher, work—learning and
effort must never stop. **Don’t be skeptical* about your potential;
believe in yourself and your journey.

Be mindful of what you share—sometimes it’s wise not to *spill the

beans* too soon. Timing matters in life and success. If you ever have
doubts, *let me ask, because curiosity leads to wisdom. And always
remember, **good things take time—there is no shortcut to
excellence. So, **hold your horses*, stay patient, and trust that your
efforts will bear fruit.

People may *beat about the bush, avoiding the real issue, but honesty
and clarity are always better. And while life demands hard work,
sometimes we must take a break and **shoot the breeze*—enjoy the
little moments, laugh, and cherish the journey.

In conclusion, never stop learning, never stop growing, and never stop
believing in yourself. Each step forward, no matter how small, brings
you closer to success. Keep working hard, stay patient, and let your
journey be an inspiration to others.

Thank you!

*The Journey to Success*

Rahul was a young man full of dreams but unsure of his path in life. He
wanted success, but deep down, he *had qualms* about whether he
could achieve it. His father always told him, *“There is many a slip
between the cup and the lip,”* meaning that even when success
seems close, challenges can arise.

One day, Rahul decided to take charge of his life. He stepped *into the
field, eager to learn and grow. However, nothing went as planned.
Every job interview he attended resulted in rejection. The pressure
mounted, and failures began **coming to memory*, making him
doubt himself.

One evening, while sitting on a park bench, Rahul overheard an elderly

man telling his grandson, *“Success does not happen overnight. You
must discover yourself first.”* These words struck a chord. He realized
that before achieving his goals, he needed to understand his strengths
and weaknesses.

Determined to start fresh, Rahul enrolled in a professional course. He

studied hard and worked late into the night. *“Take my words,”* he
reminded himself daily, *“this hard work will pay off.”* But the
journey was far from easy. His friends doubted him, some even
laughed at his efforts. *“Knowledge makes no difference,”* they said,
mocking his dedication. But Rahul ignored them.

One day, he noticed something unusual at his workplace—a senior

employee manipulating company records. *He smelled a rat* and
reported the issue. His honesty impressed the management, earning
him respect. Soon, he was offered a better role.

Months passed, and Rahul’s confidence grew. He attended

networking events and learned how to *try to be formal* in
professional settings. He knew he had to be patient because *good
things take time. Whenever he felt like giving up, he reminded himself,
*“Hold your horses. Stay calm and keep working.”**

One day, he got an opportunity to present his ideas to the CEO. This
was his big moment. He had come a long way from rejection and self-
doubt. As he prepared for his presentation, he told himself, *“Best of
me, this is your time to shine.”*
The presentation was a success. His ideas were accepted, and he
received a promotion. It was at that moment that he truly believed,
*“I will see a change.”* His hard work and patience had paid off.

Looking back, Rahul realized how far he had come. There were
moments when he felt *beaten black and blue, but he never gave up.
His journey was proof that while failures are painful, they are also
necessary. *“We mean it,”** he thought, reflecting on his struggles.

Now, whenever he meets someone struggling like he once did, he

says, *“Follow courtesy, work hard, and never be skeptical about your
dreams. Success comes to those who refuse to quit.”*

And so, Rahul’s story became an inspiration for many—because he

proved that perseverance, patience, and self-belief could turn any
dream into reality.

The Wisdom of Ramesh: A Tale of Patience and Perseverance
In a small village in India, nestled between golden fields and flowing
rivers, lived a young man named Ramesh. He was kind-hearted and
hardworking but often felt frustrated when things didn’t go his way.
His father, an old farmer with years of experience, always told him,
"Find your feet first, son. Success takes time." But Ramesh, eager to
prove himself, wanted everything in haste—and as we know, haste
makes waste.
One day, Ramesh decided to start a business selling sweets in the
village market. He had heard that selling sweets was a dime a dozen,
but he believed he could make a difference. However, running a
business was a hard nut to crack, and soon, he faced losses.
Disheartened, he thought of giving up.
His father saw his struggle and said, "Son, if you fall once, start from
scratch. Success is like farming—you must sow, water, and wait
before reaping the harvest." Ramesh sighed, thinking, "Never miss
the bus! I should have chosen another business." But his father
reminded him, "Make the most of every bus you take, my son. No
pains, no gains."
Determined, Ramesh decided to give it another try. He held his
horses, took his time, and carefully planned his business. He increased
his aplomb and worked hard on improving his recipes. He even
learned the art of storytelling from the village elders, developing the
gift of gab, so customers would enjoy visiting his stall.
One evening, an old traveler stopped by Ramesh’s shop. The man
listened to Ramesh’s story and smiled. "You remind me of a young
man I once knew," he said. "He faced teething problems at first but
didn’t give up. He worked hard, wiped his sweat, and became one of
the richest men in the kingdom!"
Ramesh’s confidence grew. He no longer jumped on the bandwagon
of easy money but focused on quality and honesty. Soon, his sweets
became famous. People from nearby villages came to taste them.
Even the village chief praised him, saying, "Ramesh, you have hit the
nail on the head. Your patience has paid off!"
But just when things were going well, a jealous rival spread false
rumors about his sweets. Sales dropped. Ramesh felt like throwing in
the towel. His father reminded him, "Son, don’t cry over spilled milk.
Keep your chin up! If you have truth on your side, you will win."
Ramesh thought hard and decided to host a public tasting session. He
invited the village elders to try his sweets and see the quality for
themselves. When they tasted them, they declared, "These are the
best sweets we have ever had!" The rumors faded, and Ramesh’s
business flourished even more.
Years later, Ramesh’s shop became the most famous sweet shop in
the district. When people asked him how he succeeded, he would
smile and say, "Good things take time. If you want to grow, face
challenges, stay patient, and never stop learning."
And so, Ramesh’s story became a lesson in the village: "Hold your
horses, work hard, and success will come to you."

"The Journey to Success: Lessons for Life"

Good morning everyone,
Life is a journey where we must find our feet before we can run
toward success. However, we must remember that haste makes
waste, and the best results come when we move slow and steady,
just like the race-winning tortoise. Opportunities are a dime a dozen,
but picking the right ones can be a hard nut to crack.
Sometimes, we have to start from scratch, but that is never a bad
thing. Creative people never get bored because they always find new
ways to innovate. It is important to never stay in the lurch or let
uncertainty hold us back. Never miss the bus, and more importantly,
make the most of every bus that comes your way. No pain, no gain—
success demands effort.
When challenges arise, hold your horses and don't panic. Instead,
increase your aplomb and boost your confidence. Always be ready to
catechize—ask questions and seek knowledge. A great leader has the
gift of gab, the ability to communicate effectively. However, beware
of those who change colors—people who are inconsistent and
unreliable.
Every challenge makes us stronger. Sometimes, we struggle, but at the
end of it all, we get to wipe the sweat off our brows, knowing we gave
it our best. There are moments when we must bite the bullet and face
difficulties with courage. Late nights and hard work are often
necessary—we must burn the midnight oil to achieve greatness. In
unfamiliar situations, we must break the ice and take the first step
toward making things better.
True success comes when we hit the nail on the head, making the
right decisions at the right time. But beware of blindly jumping on the
bandwagon—not every trend leads to success. And if things don’t go
as planned, don’t throw in the towel too soon! Mistakes happen, but
there’s no point in crying over spilled milk. Instead, keep your chin up
and move forward.
There will be moments when people will ask, “A penny for your
thoughts?” Be sure to think before you speak, as words hold power.
Relationships are important; never burn bridges, as broken trust is
hard to rebuild. If you ever feel under the weather, take a break, but
don’t let temporary setbacks stop you. Stay focused and cut to the
chase—avoid distractions and get straight to your goals.
Sometimes, what seems like a failure is actually a blessing in disguise.
Even when things look tough, believe that something good will come
out of it. But be careful not to let the cat out of the bag—keep your
plans private until the time is right. Take risks, but don’t throw caution
to the wind unnecessarily. When mistakes happen, have the courage
to face the music and take responsibility.
At the end of the day, the ball is in your court—your future is in your
hands. Don’t beat around the bush—be clear about your goals. At
times, you may feel like you're walking on eggshells, unsure of your
next step. But keep moving forward! If someone treats you unfairly,
they will one day get a taste of their own medicine.
So, here we go! Let’s take control of our lives. But remember, there is
many a slip between the cup and the lip—even when success seems
close, anything can happen. If you have qualms, trust your instincts,
but don't let fear hold you back. You will be what you were—your
habits shape your future. Experience matters, so get in the field and
learn from real-life situations.
Whenever success seems far away, recall past lessons—coming to
memory is how we grow. Be considerate towards others, and
remember: don’t take me otherwise—always try to understand
people’s true intentions. Knowledge makes no difference if it isn’t
applied. So, discover yourself and use your strengths wisely. If
something feels wrong, smell a rat—trust your gut instincts.
Try to be formal when the situation demands professionalism.
Remember, it does not happen overnight—success takes time and
effort. Take my words: persistence pays off. It’s a must to stay
dedicated. If you need help, don’t hesitate to ask—try to help me out
is a simple yet powerful request.
We all strive to be the best of ourselves. Explore yourself, learn, and
grow. One day, you’ll say, "I see a change!" So, let’s stop hesitating
and let’s start! Remember, once beaten, twice shy—learn from
failures and move wisely. If something isn’t working, sometimes the
best decision is to leave it and start fresh.
To achieve greatness, commit to memory the lessons that life teaches
you. When hardships come, they may beat you black and blue, but
never give up. We mean it when we say: resilience is key. Even if
success feels distant, it’s just for a moment—better days will come.
Follow courtesy, because respect goes a long way. Even if efforts
seem all in vain, keep pushing forward. As the saying goes, work,
teacher, work—only through continuous effort do we improve. Don’t
be skeptical; believe in yourself and in your dreams.
And if you have something important to share, don’t hesitate to spill
the beans—speak up and let your voice be heard. If in doubt, just say,
"Let me ask," because learning never stops. Good things take time—
don’t rush the process.
At first, every new journey comes with teething problems, but over
time, you will fix problems and grow stronger. Don't be mechanical;
be alive—approach life with passion. Always remember:
consciousness decides consequences—your thoughts and actions
shape your future.
If you feel stuck in the same rut, shake things up. Learn to get into a
liquid state—be adaptable and flexible. Don’t fumble, be confident in
your actions. Share knowledge, because growth is meant to be
shared. Be engrossed in whatever you do, and always be swift, be
active—success favors the energetic.
Above all, dispel darkness—eliminate ignorance and negativity.
Increase your grit, stay determined, and retain your mind—mental
clarity is key to success. Whatever you do, know that it is for your
betterment. Think of others' welfare, not ill of them—kindness and
empathy make the world better.
In difficult times, you may get annoyed, but stay patient. Learn to
persuade others, as influence is a powerful tool. And finally, always
give the most, give the best—because life rewards those who put in
their all.
Thank you!

The Whispering Forest

In the heart of Ravenwood, a curious girl named Elara was about to
discover something unexpected. The night was cold and eerie, and the
air carried the scent of damp earth and old pine.
Just as Elara was about to turn back toward the village, a sudden
whispering voice stopped her in her tracks. The voice seemed to come
from the ancient oak at the forest’s edge. Her heart pounded as she
stepped closer.
The clock was ticking, and Elara knew she had only until sunrise to
find the source of the whispers before they faded forever. A
mysterious glowing pendant lay at the base of the tree, pulsing with
light. As she reached for it, the whispers grew louder, revealing an old
secret: "Find the lost key before he wakes..."
With a deep breath, Elara stepped forward, ready to face whatever
mystery lay hidden beneath the roots of Ravenwood. The pendant’s
glow brightened, and suddenly, the ground beneath her feet began to
tremble.
The dust settled, leaving Elara to process what had just happened. A
secret staircase now stretched beneath the tree, leading into
darkness. Though the battle was over, she knew the real challenge
had just begun.
As she walked down the steps, Elara couldn't help but wonder: was
this truly the end, or only the beginning?
The Hidden Temple
In the heart of Varanasi, a young historian named Aarav was about
to discover something unexpected. The night was humid and silent,
and the air carried the scent of incense and the Ganges.
Just as Aarav was about to leave the old library, a sudden flutter of
ancient papers stopped him in his tracks. A faded manuscript had
fallen from the shelf, its pages whispering of a lost temple beneath
the ghats.
The clock was ticking, and Aarav knew he had only until sunrise to
find the entrance before the river’s tide covered it again. A
mysterious stone engraving on the manuscript hinted at a location
near Manikarnika Ghat. As he traced the symbols, the meaning
became clear: The temple of Ma Annapurna lay beneath the city itself.
With a deep breath, Aarav stepped onto the ghat, ready to face the
secrets buried for centuries. The moonlight reflected off the water,
and suddenly, he noticed a narrow passage beneath the steps, just as
the manuscript described.
The dust settled, leaving Aarav to process what had just happened. A
hidden doorway had appeared, its carvings glowing faintly in the dim
torchlight. Though the discovery was monumental, he knew the real
challenge had just begun.
As he stepped inside, Aarav couldn't help but wonder: Was this the
treasure he had been searching for, or something far more dangerous?

Narrator: Ring! Ring! Ring! Off goes the alarm clock at six in the
morning. Neha makes a face and, covering her ears with a pillow,
snuggles under the warm blanket. But she knows she has to get up.
She mutters to herself.
Neha: This alarm clock always rings at six and pulls me out of bed!
It's so unfair... Oh, how I would love to sleep a little longer in the
morning! I wish this clock would sometimes forget its job.
Narrator: Suddenly, something falls with a thud. Neha peeks out
from her blanket and smiles.
Neha: Oh! My clock has fallen. How happy I am! Tomorrow, I can get
up late.
Narrator: The next morning, there is no alarm. Neha sleeps and
sleeps. The small, chirpy birds that come to the window sill every
morning find Neha still sleeping.
Birds: Wake up, dear! Wake up fast!
Narrator: Neha gets up with a start.
Neha: Oh, no! If it's not the alarm clock, it's these birds... why don't
they leave me alone?
Narrator: Even this wish of Neha's comes true. The next morning,
there is not only no alarm clock, there are no birds either. But
someone else does not want her to miss the school bus. Can you
guess who it is? The big, bright Sun! He fills Neha’s room with his
warm smile.
Neha: Oh, my eyes! Now it's the Sun waking me up! Why can't he let
me be?
Narrator: Even this wish of Neha’s comes true. The next morning, the
Sun hides behind the clouds. So, Neha snores peacefully until she
hears her mother's voice…
Mother: Wake up, sleepyhead! You will miss the bus.
Neha: Oh no! Why does Mother have to wake me up?
Narrator: There is no escape now. Neha gets up and gets ready. Can
you imagine what happens the next day?
Neha wakes up with a start. Her watch says it is six o'clock. She calls
out to her mother.
Neha: Ma, who woke me up today?
Narrator: Mother smiles.
Mother: Who else? You, of course!
Neha: But I was sleeping. How could I…?
Mother: Now, tell me, why do you eat your lunch every day at one in
the afternoon?
Neha: I feel hungry.
Mother: Why do you sleep at nine every night?
Neha: Because I feel sleepy.
Mother: There is a clock inside you which tells you when to eat,
when to sleep, and when to wake up.
Neha: Oh! Ooh! I better rush now. I don’t want to miss the bus!
Mother: Relax! Today is Sunday!
Neha: Oh! Oh! Oh!
---
Narrator: The alarm clock rings at six in the morning. Neha makes a
face. She covers her ears with a pillow. She hides under her blanket.
But she knows she must wake up.
Neha: My alarm clock rings every day at six. It wakes me up. It is not
fair! I want to sleep more. I wish the clock would forget its job.
Narrator: Suddenly, the clock falls with a loud thud. Neha looks out
from her blanket. She smiles.
Neha: Oh! My clock has fallen. Now I can wake up late tomorrow.
Narrator: The next morning, the alarm clock does not ring. Neha

Birds: Wake up, Neha! Wake up fast!
Narrator: Neha wakes up suddenly.
Neha: Oh no! If not the clock, now the birds wake me up. Why don’t

me sleep?
Narrator: The next morning, the Sun hides behind the clouds. Neha

Mother: Wake up, Neha! You will miss the bus.
Neha: Oh no! Now Mother is waking me up!
Narrator: Neha cannot escape now. She wakes up and gets ready. The
next day, something happens.
Neha wakes up suddenly. She looks at her watch. It is six o’clock. She
calls her mother.
Neha: Ma, who woke me up today?
Narrator: Mother smiles.
Mother: Who else? You woke up yourself!
Neha: But I was sleeping. How did I wake up?
Mother: Tell me, why do you eat lunch at one o’clock?
Neha: Because I feel hungry.
Mother: Why do you sleep at nine at night?
Neha: Because I feel sleepy.
Mother: There is a clock inside you. It tells you when to eat, sleep, and
wake up.

What kind of life does a person who lives for himself live? Such a
person is truly a hard nut to crack, as living only for oneself means
being the most selfish person in the world. We all should live for our
parents and must fulfill our duties — after all, knowledge makes no
difference if it is not applied in our actions. Duties are not only for
parents; they are also for siblings, wife, and children. If you move
forward by burning bridges and breaking social rules, one day those
very rules will come back to haunt you. Because when the ball is in
your court, you will also expect someone to help you.
Sometimes my parents are afraid of me. They often say, “If we spend
money on this, everything will come to a standstill. Do small work and
be happy.” But the grit and determination inside us — that gift of gab
— doesn’t let us throw in the towel. It says that we can do everything
and definitely set up an empire from scratch. If we want to open a
coaching center or a school, then no one can stop us — not our
parents, not even our siblings. After all, slow and steady wins the race.
I also know that sometimes it seems even my father will not support
me much because fear makes him hesitant — he only wants to keep
me alive and under the weather of safety. So we have no qualms about
keeping expectations low; instead, we keep our chin up and believe in
ourselves. We know that by burning the midnight oil and working
tirelessly, we can grow little by little and prove our worth. It’s a must
— we will not cry over spilled milk.
Even my brothers did not help me at the right time; they did not
provide any financial support. But if I think positively, I realize that I
shouldn’t have any expectations from anyone. A friend of mine could
help if I asked, but I smell a rat — I know his family's situation too. Why
should I become a burden on anyone unnecessarily? I must find my
feet and develop myself so much that I achieve even small things
without anyone's help. We just have to stay focused and retain our
minds because everyone has expectations from me for their own
selfish reasons.
After all, how long will I keep walking on eggshells and fighting against
these odds? If I am a boy, then I must stay focused on my goals without
being distracted. I won’t let anyone’s criticism or imagination cloud
my mind. My aim is to work teaches work — and increase my skills
until I achieve success. No pains, no gains — and that’s the path I
choose.

my mind. My aim is to work, teacher, work — and increase my skills
until I achieve success. No pains, no gains — and that’s the path I
choose.
Sometimes, we face teething problems when starting something new,
and it’s easy to beat around the bush instead of tackling the issues
directly. But we must bite the bullet, face the music, and fix problems
head-on. It’s important not to be mechanical — be alive, stay
conscious because consciousness decides consequences. We
shouldn’t stay in the same rut, but rather get into a liquid state — be
flexible and adapt. Don’t fumble; stay confident and share knowledge
with others.
Be engrossed in your work — be swift, be active. Dispel darkness with
your determination and increase grit. Commit everything to memory
and believe that it’s for your betterment. Think of the welfare of
others and avoid thinking ill of them. Yes, sometimes we get annoyed,
but we must learn to persuade others and give our most — give our
best.
We must never kneel down before fate or succumb to wounds, greed,
anger, or emotions. Never throw caution to the wind. Remember,
present is the son of the past — our actions today shape our
tomorrow. Be energetic, toilsome, hardworking, and assiduous. Burn
the midnight oil if you must. Ruminate about your future because
nobody knows what’s in store. Bend over backward if that’s what it
takes to achieve your goals.
Keep my words — help the poor, help the destitute. Chew the cud,
think deeply, and stay focused on your mission. It does not happen
overnight — success takes time and perseverance. So hold your
horses, take things step by step, and you will see a change. Once
beaten, twice shy — but don’t let past failures deter you. Follow
courtesy, stay considerate, and work with patience. When good things
take time, never miss the bus — make the most of every opportunity.
In the end, don’t stay in lurch or leave things all in vain. Work tirelessly
and you will gain everything you deserve. Remember, increase your
aplomb and confidence, and one day, you will discover yourself. Let’s
start — because only those who persevere and stay focused achieve
greatness.
