Easter is a very important holiday in the UK, second only to Christmas. It celebrates Jesus
Christ coming back to life. The date changes every year, but it's always in spring.
In the UK, Easter brings two special holidays: Good Friday and Easter Monday. Schools close
for two weeks, and children enjoy fun traditions before the break:
Egg and spoon race - Children run while balancing an egg on a spoon.
Egg decorating - Kids paint boiled eggs or make them look like people.
Easter bonnet - Children decorate hats with flowers and eggs.
