AFTER A SAFE FLIGHT PATH IS ESTABLISHED  CHECK OVERHEAD PANEL
I.E SPEED, ALTITUDE AND TRAJECTORY  CHECK SYSTEM DISPLAY PAGE ( ANALYZE
and CONFIRM the Failure

 ORDERS “ECAM ACTIONS/QRH  ECAM/OEB ACTIONS PERFORMS TILL
PROCEDURE” STATUS
IT IS RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PF: IT IS RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PF:
 TO FLY  TO MONITOR THE FLIGHT PATH AND
 NAVIGATE AND COMMUNICATE (PF NIVAGATION
MAY COMMUNICATE AFTER  TO PERFORM ECAM ACTIONS or
INITITAION OF THE ECAM ACTIONS ,  TO APPLY QRH/OEB PROCEDURE
OR A QRH PROCEDURE)
WHEN NECESSARY, THE FLIGHT CREW SHOULD STOP ECAM ACTIONS WHEN THEY NEED TO

PF ORDERS “ CONTINUE ECAM” PM READ ECAM STATUS
(READ ONLY , NO ACTION ON BLUE LINES)
PM REQUESTS “REMOVE STATUS?”
PF ONFIRMS “REMOVE STATUS” PRESS STS PB AND ANNOUNCES
“ECAM ACTIONS COMPLETED”
WHEN TE ECAM/QRH/OEB ACTIONS ARE COMPLETED FLIGHT CREW SHOULD
 RESUME THE NORMAL OPERATIONS TASK SHARING RULES
 IF TIME PERMITS, REVIEW THE FCOM FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE

 RETURN ,DIVERT,CONTINUE, (IF NEEDED DETERMINE RELEATED AIRPORTS)
RISK AND BENEFITS – ASSESS THE RISKS AND BENEFITS FOR THE OPTIONS
CHECK REMAINING FUEL FOR DETERMINED AIRPORTS (IF ANY ,CHECK FUEL PENALTY FACTOR)
TAKE THE WX FOR DETERMINED AIRPORTS (IF REQUIRED ,CONSIDERED APPROACH CAPABILITY)
COMPUTE LANDING DISTANCE FOR DETERMINE AIRPORTS (IF ANY, CHECK LANDING DISTANCE PENALTY )
CONSIDER ALL THE OPERATIONAL (RVSM ,RNP,NOTAMS),MAINTENANCE ,COMMECAIL ASPECTS
DECISION – CHOOSE A COURSE OF ACTION

A-ATIS (CHECK EX , IF REQUIRED )
B- BUILD FMGC AND APPROACH PREPARATION ( COMPLETE ALL BLUE ACTION LINES ON STATUS PAGE)
B-BRIEFING (START WITH ABNORMAL BRIEFING /STATUS PAGE AND THEN CONTINUE WITH NORMAL
BRIEFING)
*REVIEW OF SPECIFIC PORTIONS OF SUMMARY CHECKLISTS (ELEC EMER CONFIG, DUAL HYD FAILURE),
AND IF TIME PERMITS REVIEW OTHER CHECKLISTS REQUIRED DURIN APPROACH AND LANDING ETC.
 QRH FUEL RELEATED PAGES (FUEL IMBALANCE, LEAK, GRAVITY FEEDING).
 QRH LANDING WITH SLATS OR FLAPS JAMMED.

 DURING APPROACH, REQUEST THE SPECIFIC QRH CHECKLIST HICH WAS REVEIWED DURING THE
APPROACH BRIEFING.
 PM KEEPS THE REQUIRED QRH CHECKLIST OPEN AND READY TO USE.

CHECK – IS EVERYTHING STILL ALL RIGHT? – CONTINUESLY MONITOR THE PLAN


**IF CREW HAS ALREADY PERFORMED AN UP-TO-DATE BRIEIFING AND COURSE OF ACTIONS FOR AN
ABNORMAL, EMERGENCY SITUATION FOR A SPECIFIC PHASE OF THE FLIGHT (E.G IMMEDIATE TURN AFTER
TAKE OFF, CRUISE BRIEIFING ITEMS) THEN CREW MAY PROCEED TO EXECUTION.
