8KS04 MULTIMEDIA COMPUTING

Course Objectives: Throughout the course, students will be expected to demonstrate their
understanding of
Multimedia Computing by being able to do each of the following:
· To learn and understand technical aspect of Multimedia Computing.
· To understand the standards available for different audio video and text applications.
· To Design and develop various Multimedia Systems applicable in real time.
· To learn various multimedia compression algorithms.
· To understand various networking aspects used for multimedia applications.

Outcomes:
Describe the Basic Software and Hardware tools for Multimedia

Use Various Software for performing the installation to work with multimedia technologies.
Analyze speech recognition in sound/Audio
Edit Graphics files using graphics software to improve the images and analysis of image
Demonstration the animation by using Animation tools
Apply Acquired knowledge in the field of multimedia for good cause like advertisemement,
compaiging etc.
