MR 850 humidifier Preventative Maintenance Procedure

These steps follow the numbering scheme from the service manual.

8.1.1 Humidifier Cal Check:

8.1.1.4 Plug GREY cal plug into temp/flow socket. Display should read 100 and Heater
Wire LED should be OFF.
8.1.1.7 Plug BLUE cal plug into temp/flow socket. Display should read 200 and
Heater Wire LED should be OFF.

8.1.4 Humidifier Warm-Up & Control Check:

8.1.4.5 Connect unit to ventilator circuit and verify that chamber temp. is between 35.2
and 37.3 degrees Centigrade. Verify that the airway temp. is between 38.2 and
40.3 degrees C.

If unit fails call Allegiance at 800-637-1500 for tech support or an RGA
