New Combustion Liners P/N 23056106 and 23056130 have been released for use on all
Model 250 Series I and II engines. Operators may rework Combustis2n Liners P/N 6671466 to
P/N 23056130 and P/N 6696605 to P/N 23056106.
C. Description:
A fillet weld is added to the dome section in two different locations of Series I and II
combustion liners.

Compliance Code 5: To be complied with at a lime when the affected part IS directly available

M. Prereauisites:

2. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Remove the combustion liner assembly per the Operation and Maintenance Manual
B. Inspect the dimensions as shown in Figures 1 and 3
(1) Clean the part throoughly.
(a) Petroleum Solvent wash (mmeral spirits).
(b) Vapor degrease.
C. Prepare as necessary the area to be welded.
(1) Pr IV weld, using AMS 5762, AMS 5796 or AMS 5784 weld rod. Weld using minimum
heat input, and Argon backup as required. See Figures 1 and 2
(2) Visually Inspect weld.
(3) Heat treat at 1000°F? 25O (536%? 14’) for one hour, in a controlled atmosphere.
(4) Fluorescent penetrant inspect (FPI) the welded area.
(5) Reinspect the dimensions as shown in Figures I and 3. Adjust louvers as necessary
D. Reidentify the modified liner assemblies (P/N 6671466 to P/N 23056130 and P/N 6696805 to
P/N 23056106) by marking new part numbers per AS476-3Bl or AS478-2Dl as shown in
Figure 3.
