ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL, FUEL CONTROL AND GOVERNOR ASSEMBLIES - MODIFY

1. PLANNING INFORMATION:

A. Effectivity:

All Model 250-Cl8 Series, C20 Series, B15G, 817 Series, C28 Series,
and C30 Series engines are affected by this bulletin.

B. Reason:

(1) To incorporate new PC inlet tee fitting to selected governor

assembly and apply Everlube 690 to tee fittings to reduce ~the
possibility of corrosion and to improve reliability.

(2) To apply Everlube 690 to selected parts of the fuel control unit
to reduce the possibility of corrosion and to improve reliability.

(3) Change governor bellows damper rings on selected fuel controls to

improve fuel control setting stability.

C. Description:

(1) New confiauration Fuel Control Units listed below incoroorate

application of Everlube 690 to governor bellows sleeve,'torsion
shaft assembly bushing, and PC inlet fitting. P/N 23007873,
P/N 23007501, P/N 23007502, 23030636 and 23030639 Fuel Control
Units also incorporate new governor bellows damper rings.
