1. PLANNING INFORMATION
A. Effectivity
(1) Engines
All Rolls-Royce Model 250--C18, --C20, --C28, --C30, --C20R, --C40, --C47, --B15, --B17 and
--B17F series engines are affected by this bulletin.
(2) Spares -- Not affected
B. Reason
To provide an improved fuel nozzle configuration due to a limited number of occurrences where
the fuel nozzle filter assembly becomes impassable.
C. Description
This commercial engine bulletin gives you the procedure and authority to remove the old fuel
nozzle and replace with the new fuel nozzle.
D. Approval
Technical aspects are FAA approved.
E. Compliance
Compliance Code 2: To be complied with no later than March 31, 2005 or the next time the fuel
nozzle is overhauled.
F. Interchangeability -- Not affected

M. Prerequisites -- None
2. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
A. Remove the fuel nozzle assembly.
(1) Get access to the engine.
(2) Remove fuel nozzle from OCC (Ref. OMM).
(3) Install new fuel nozzle assembly (Ref. OMM).
NOTE: Failure to properly install, align and tighten fuel, oil and air fittings and tubes
could result in engine failure.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE COMPONENTS OF THE ENGINE UNTIL THEY ARE
COOL. THE TEMPERATURE STAYS HIGH AFTER THE ENGINE STOPS. THE
HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

logbook, engine assembly (white pages), Part III, Modification Record as applicable with the
