DATA PROCESSING CONSENT FOR APPLICANTS
In the course of your application with us, CHARTER CHEMICAL & COATING
CORP., will process your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information in
accordance with our Data Privacy Policy. These Personal Information and Sensitive
Personal Information may include, but are not limited to, date of birth, home address,
telephone number, social security and other government identification number, and other
information necessary for us to process and evaluate your application with us.
How we collect and store your data
We collect your data:
- When you submit your resume to us
- When you submit your resume to other recruitment agencies to which we subscribe
(Job Street, etc.)
- When you fill out our Application Form
- During the course of your interview
- When you visit our booths during Job fairs
We store your data:
- In physical form
- In electronic form
We store your data in our secured system and in accordance with our ISO 9001 Records
Management Policy.
What happens if an applicant is not accepted versus considered?
If an applicant is not accepted, the application form and resume are shredded, and
copies stored on emails are deleted within fifteen (15) days. Once considered for the
position but not prioritized, the application form and resume are kept within three months
for future reference, and the same disposal process shall apply.
What we use your data for
We use your data:
- To evaluate your educational background as a fit for the position we are looking for.
- To validate the information given to us or conduct background checks as to the
validity of the information given to us
- To comply with our policies and processes in relation to the processing of your
application
- Other lawful/legal purposes directly related to the above, which you have given
consent
We may share your data
We share your data:
- With authorized personnel of Charter Chemical & Coatings Corp.,. and its affiliate
companies
- With government agencies that process employee benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth,
Pag-ibig, BIR, Health Care Provider, and Insurances
- With third party partners who conduct background checks if necessary

We uphold your rights as a data subject. Your personal data will be kept confidential
in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of
2012, subject to the provisions of any applicable laws. You may request access to the
personal data that we store about you. You have the right to correct or update your personal
data at any time while your application is still being processed. In the event that you
withdraw or decide not to proceed with your application with us, you also have the right to
withdraw your consent to any use of your personal data by contacting us.
We will review our privacy policy from time to time and reserve the right to amend this
privacy policy at any time, with or without prior notice. We will notify you if any changes are
