The Existence Of God God's existence is so
conspicyous that we feel Him through our conscience and through the work of creation.
The Bible revealed to us the nature, character and work of God.God introduced Himself
to us in His book. Leviticus 18:4;Leviticus 26:1'...I am the Lord your God'.
WHO IS GOD?
Defining who God is, could be a much complex exercise; however,from the perspective
of our knowledge of God, God can be described as the Supreme Being,the creator and
ruler of ALL that is, the "Self Existent One" You can actually define who Godis in your own
way.
His Nature:God loves, forgv, cares,Heis kind, wonderful,gentle. His Holy 1Samuel
2:2, 1 Peter 1:16, 1 John 3:1,1 Peter 5:7, Leviticus 11:45
His Form: God said 'Let us make man in our own image" man is created in the
image and likeness of God.He changeth not,same yesterday, today and forever
Heb.13:8,Psalm 15:4,Hebrews 13:8 Malachi 3:6
His Being: Godis spirit John 4:24
His Kingdom: He is a King, He reigns, He rules and He judges. Psalm 45:6 'Thy throne
O God is for ever and ever,the sceptre ofthy kingdom is right sceptre'.His Kingdom has
no end;He dwells in heaven Psalm 11:4 Matthew 5:34,2Chronicles

We can record His works as part of His attributes or characters.
We know that God shares some attributes with man

Can speak: Numbers 12:6
Can love:John 3:16
Also God is unique in the following attributes
He is Omnipotent (All Powerful)
He is Omniscience (All Knowing)
He is Omnipresent(present everywhere)
Assurance of His Existence
We know He exists:
Through His work
Through the creation of the wonders of the world.
Through His power
Through His words
Through His voice
Reveals Himself in a vision or dream: Genesis 20:3
The Will of God
'Thy will be done on earth as it is done in heaven' Matthew 6:10God
created man in Hisimage and likeness to fulfil His will Gen 1:27-29

God handed to man His entire creation of 6 days. Gen 1:28'And Godbless them
and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and
subdue it and have dominion...'
The will of God is for man to have dominion and subdue the earth in worship and
praise to the Almighty God.
God created man to:
Fellowship with Him:Exodus 5:3
Worship Him:Exodus 8:8, Exodus 5:3
To dress and keep God's garden: Gen 2:15
To subdue and have dominion over the earth:Gen 1:28.
To multiply and replenish the face of the earth:Gen 1:28.
To live in peace and prosperity 3John 1:2,Job 36:11,Ps 35:27,Ps 122:7.
God wants to build a relationship with us, He wants to call us friend. Just as he
called Adam Gen 3:9 'And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him where
art thou?'
His will is to relate with us, but can only do that if we have knowledge of Him;but
man lost control,dominion of the earth through sin.Gen 3:24
Understanding The Fall Of Man(Gen.2:15-20,3:1-8).Adam was the first of the
human race, just as the head of a country can cause his country to fail or succeed
through his leadership, Adam changed the course of the human race by falling into
sin Rom.5:12. Satan made Adam to believe the following about God:
(a) That God was a liar-Gen.2:17 and Gen.3:4.(b) That God was deceitful and does
not have the love of His creatures at heart-Gen.3:5.
(c) That He does not want them to live beyond their current state for which they
have the potential.(d) That God was unfair by not giving them that which was their
(e) Denied the very essence of God's character-truth and righteousness

(f)Blasphemed God.Spoke irreverently about God;painted God in bad light.

thief cometh not,but for to steal, kill and destroy...'
Who is the saviour?:Jesus Christ the son of the living God.
Isaiah 9:6 '...For unto us a son is born... He shall be called counsellor, the mighty
God...'
Isaiah 12:4'...And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call unto His name,
declare His doings among the people,make mention that his name is exalted'.

Origin of Sin
Sin came into the world through Adam,when he disobeyed God and committed high
treason against God in the Garden of Eden. The consequence of that action caused
the death nature of Satan to pass upon all men, and it's because of that nature that
all men sinned.Gen 2 :17
Ever since sin became the nature of every man that is born of Woman. You don't have
to do anything to sin but you became sinful because you have the nature of man.
Romans 5:14-16,18-19
Sin is disobeying God,knowi ng evil and doing evil.'Our iniquities have separated us
from God' Isaiah 59:2. The devil has continued to rule over man from the beginning
of the creation, the devil is a fallen angel Isaiah 14:12,Luke 10:18,Rev 9:1.
The devil is determined to drag man into the bottomless pit but, God out of His love
for man,choose to redeem and save man from destruction
