The quiz comprises five (5) Rounds,
namely;
Round 1: Fundamentals
Round 2: Fastest Finger (Speed Race)
Round 3: Science And Technology Challenge
Round 4: True or False
Round 5: Decoding The Clues (Riddles)

ROUND 1
RULES
1. Each section has the same number of questions to
answer in turns.
2. If a section answers a major question correctly, 3
points is awarded. If it is incorrectly answered it
becomes available as a bonus to the other sections to
compete for. The score for the bonus question is 1
point.
3. Only two attempts are allowed for major questions
and one attempt for bonus questions in Round 1.
4. Sections will have 10 seconds to answer questions
that do not require calculations and 30 seconds for
questions that require calculation.
5. Bonus questions require only 5 seconds

PHYSICS
PREAMBLE: State the unit for the following quantities.

RULES
#. Contestants will compete to be the first to answer.
#. Each question carries a score of 3 points.
#. When a contestant is ready to answer, he/she is supposed to
signal before answering.
#. Answering without a signal will disqualify the section from the
question.
#. After signaling, you must answer in 3 seconds.
#. If a section gets the question wrong, the three remaining
sections get the chance to compete to answer.
#. Each section will have a maximum of two attempts to answer
the question.
#. A wrong answer in this round attracts a penalty of 1 point.

answered correctly on the second clue, 4 points. On the third or
any other clue it’s 3 points.
® Contestants are to signal before attempting to answer the
question. Failure to signal before answering disqualifies you from
that question and nullifies your answer even if it is correct.
