Mastery of AI can be challenging due to its multifaceted nature, comprising a spectrum of tools,

fundamental concepts of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models
(LLMs), and Oracle AI infrastructure and services.
The initial four modules elucidate AI and machine learning basics, requiring no prerequisite programming
experience, mathematical background, or prior knowledge of any specific cloud provider. Each module
progressively delves into deeper levels of understanding. For instance, in the machine learning module, we
expound on common ML types like Supervised, Unsupervised, and Reinforcement Learning. We augment
comprehension through illustrative examples that elucidate their functioning.
Similarly, the Generative AI module explores the intricacies of self-attention mechanisms and transformer
architecture – pivotal concepts in comprehending Generative AI. The objective of these foundational
modules is to furnish you with an intuitive, cohesive, and integrated understanding of AI fundamentals.
Oracle's commitment to infusing AI into every layer of our enterprise stack is evident in our extensive
investment, spanning infrastructure to Oracle AI Apps. Modules 5 and 6 further delve into the Oracle AI
portfolio, encompassing Oracle AI infrastructure and OCI AI and ML services.
Module 5 offers an overview of OCI AI Infrastructure, featuring OCI Superclusters designed for optimal
generative AI training. With the capacity to support tens of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs, OCI compute
bare metal instances and VMs empower applications across computer vision, natural language processing,
recommendation systems, and more.
In Module 6, the focus shifts to Oracle AI services, encompassing OCI Language, Vision, Document
Understanding, Speech, and Anomaly Detection. These instructional sessions include multiple
demonstrations to enhance your comprehension of Oracle AI services. Additionally, it covers OCI Data
Science, a comprehensive end-to-end machine learning platform that streamlines the building, training,
deployment, and management of machine learning models.
Both modules incorporate a skill check section to aid you in evaluating your knowledge and understanding
of the covered lessons.
This learning includes a corresponding certification exam, offering learners the chance to showcase their
understanding of AI, machine learning concepts, and Oracle AI/ML services. The OCI AI Foundations
certification exam assesses learners' proficiency in:
