Confessing the Word of God

Duration - 4 hours

What is confession? It means 'to say the same' or 'to admit'. To confess the Word of God is
to admit that the Word of God is true. Confession is a way of possessing the things that God
He has already given us by the Word of promise. Confession is possession. It is to say the same as the
writing says.
To confess: it is to accept God's provision by affirming it with our words.
The church of Jesus Christ has not given this topic a place in its teaching and yet, the
answered prayer, the use of the name of Jesus and faith are really dependent on this.

I. Christianity is considered our confession.

A. Hebrews 4:14 tells us: "Therefore, having a great high priest who has passed through
the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession." The old version
Let's hold onto our confession.
Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in
your heart that God raised from the dead, you will be saved. Because with the heart one
"He is for justice, but with the mouth one confesses for salvation." Let us observe the place.
that confession has in salvation, has the same place in our walk.
1. Christianity is a confession. It is our open confession of what we are.
in Christ, of what Christ is to us.
Our faith is measured by our confession.
3. We never believe beyond our confession. It is not a confession of sin,
It is the confession of our position in Christ.
4. It is the confession of our legal rights, of what the Father has done for.
we in Christ, and what the Spirit has done in us through the Word
and what He can do through us.
II. Change your way of living by changing your sayings.
A. The Word of God conceived in his heart, which he then pronounces with his tongue, and that
It comes out of its own mouth, becoming a spiritual force that activates power.
of God that is within you. For this reason, Paul said 'I can do all things in Christ'
that strengthens me" Philippians 4:13.
1. Words are the most powerful thing in the universe: John 1:1 "In the beginning
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. We must learn to
use our words more effectively, the words you speak set you free
or they enslave it.
There are many Christians who have been bound by their own words, by the
words from his mouth have fallen into a situation where they cannot receive from God;
they have even prayed in a way that is opposite to the Word of God, they pray the problem and this
has increased. The prayer produces according to its kind. Mark 11:24 says "For
So I tell you that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it, and it will be yours.
He will come. The Word says to pray for the things you need, pray for the answer not.

The words governed by spiritual law become spiritual forces.
that work in your favor. Idle words work against you. Matthew
12:26-37 But I say to you that for every idle word that men speak,
they will give account of her on the day of judgment. For by your words you will be
justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
4. Control the words that come out of your mouth and bring them into obedience to the Word.
of God, which is the spiritual law of God. You can create a world for
live, by the words of his mouth; if he speaks words full of faith instead of
words of fear. Fear is produced by believing the wrong thing, fear is faith
in the power of the enemy. Matthew 12:35 "The good man, out of the good treasure of
the heart brings out good things...
III. The confession of the word.
A. The confession is a way in which we sow seeds in the kingdom. When we...
speak/confess the Word of God, sow seeds. God provides the seed but
We must sow it. We must agree with it and believe it. Marcos
4:26-27 "Such is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
and sleeps and rises, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows without him knowing
how
B. Time of planting and harvesting. In Genesis 1:11-12, "Then God said: Let the earth bring forth..."
land, green grass, grass that yields seeds; fruit tree that bears fruit according to its kind,
that its seed be in it, upon the earth. And so it was. The earth produced grass.
green, grass that produces seed according to its nature, and tree that bears fruit, whose seed is
in it, according to its kind. Sowing and reaping is God's method, everything produces.
according to the species and the seed is in each one.
1. When we speak, the Word is a seed that goes into the heart -
the human spirit and there it begins to grow and produce.
There is life in the Word of God, in the promise itself. It is the life that God breathed.
inside her. The Word of God is an incorruptible seed; the promises of God
they are seeds for a harvest.
3. Sow in the way that God said. When you see scarcity and problems in your
life, speak abundance and peace; that is the seed you are sowing.
4. Go to the Word of God, find the promise and plant the seed; you are
sowing seeds for a harvest.
C. The Word must be within you. The Word of God is the will of God.
but it will not happen in your life just because it is God's will. You will not be
healed only because the Bible says, 'by whose wounds you were healed' (1 Peter 2:24).
It will not prosper just because the Bible says: 'And everything he does will prosper.'
(Psalm 1:3); the Word must be within you.
IV. When we confess the Word of God, we must add faith to speaking it.
A. The seed of faith: Luke 17:5-6 "The apostles said to the Lord: Increase our faith."
Then the Lord said: If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this
sycamore: Uproot yourself, and plant yourself in the sea; and it would obey you." Jesus discovered two
great truths in verse 6 of Luke 17, faith is a seed; and the way to
to sow it is to say it.
The Word of God in your mouth produces a force called 'FAITH' in the spirit.
human. Hebrews 11:1 says: 'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.'
conviction of what is not seen.
2. Faith is the substance of things hoped for; it is the evidence of things not seen.
Therefore faith is the evidence of those things you hope for. That faith
It comes from the Word of God. Faith is: the substance and the evidence of things.
desired.
Faith speaks. When faith speaks, it is faith that speaks, not fear or unbelief. Jesus said
that faith would speak to the object (sycamore); and it would obey. For example: you talk to
poverty and it must obey you. If you say: 'I don't have enough money, never
We will be able to pay the debts; poverty follows you home; Jesus said: "The
what is said will be done" the spiritual law works whether it is applied in the correct way or
incorrect.
C. Faith is the voice of authority. The faith of the believer is the voice of authority, whether
careful about what things he allows to happen. Many believers have prophesied defeat
month after month until finally the harvest of what they planted arrived. Proverbs
The man will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his mouth; And he will be repaid according to
the work of his hands.
Faith comes by hearing. There is spiritual power in the Word of God to unleash faith, but
There is also a spiritual force in the words of the enemy, that force is called fear.
Faith in God comes from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith will come.
because faith in God comes from hearing what God said.
2. In the same way, faith in the devil comes from hearing his words, faith in the
The devil is called fear. Job 3:25 "For the fear that frightened me has come upon me,
And what I feared has happened to me. How to overcome fear? When we speak the
Word of God. Do you remember what Jesus said in response to the devil's temptation?
To change stones into bread? Matthew 4:4 "He answered and said: It is written:"
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
3. When we confess the Word of God, it produces faith that gives life, but when
We confess that contrary words produce a fear that brings death. Proverbs 7:2-3
Keep my commandments and you will live, and my law like the apples of your eyes. Bind them to
your fingers; write them on the table of your heart." Psalm 45:1 "My heart overflows
Good word; I direct my song to the king; my tongue is a scribe's pen very
light.
V. How to make your confessions work in your favor.
A. Have the discipline to confess the Word of God. It is for your benefit. God gave you
This advice to Joshua in Joshua 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth;"
but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may keep and do according to
everything that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and everything will
It will turn out well. You need to be obedient to the Word of God and be in agreement with it.
what God said about You.
B. Confess according to your situation. You can change the facts that are not
according to the Word of God. For example: "I am the body of Christ and Satan has no
power over me, for I overcome evil with good." I Corinthians 12:27; Romans 12:21
I am of God and I have overcome Satan because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
In the world. "I John 4:4" "I will fear no evil, for you are with me, Lord, your
Your word and Your Spirit comfort me." Psalm 23:4 "No weapon forged against me
It will prosper, for my justice is from the Lord: But everything I do will prosper
for I am like a tree planted by rivers of water." Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 1:3
C. Making the writings valid in your life. That is what God told Joshua that
Joshua 1:8 says, 'This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth.' The book of the
law was the Word of God that they had at that moment. God told him to stay
speaking The Word. And that is the way it will make the confession work in his favor;
to confess it when you feel exactly the opposite of the truth. Ephesians 6:16 "Above all,
Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the wicked.
1. Jesus defeated Satan with the Word. Jesus only spoke what God said.
He defeated Satan with the Word of God. If you hold on to this principle,
Satan will not be able to do anything against him. You have the authority to declare
these truths, because they are promises of God. It can also be said: 'By
poverty He has given me wealth, through illness He has given me health, through
death He has given me eternal life.¨ II Corinthians 8:9; Isaiah 53:5; John 10:10;
John 5:24.
There may be scarcity around you. But proclaim what God has said about
you. Regardless of what seems to be a fact. Take these
confessions and I entered his room, I walked from one side to the other talking to him out loud
high. Do not whisper it, do not read it for you, say it out loud; speak them to your
heart.
3. The confession is only the beginning to put the Word of God to work in your life.
Please make your own list of scripture confessions to change your heart and
to bring it to agree with the Word of God.
VI. The Word of God above all.
A. Learn to call things that are not as if they were. Jesus operated on this principle.
In John 2:1-13. Jesus spoke only what His Father said. Luke 13:11-12
Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath; and there was a woman there who
for eighteen years she had a spirit of illness, and she was bent over, and in
there was no way to straighten it. When Jesus saw her, he called her and said: Woman,
you are free from your illness. And he laid his hands on her; and she immediately stood upright, and
He glorified God. Jesus was calling on that which was not manifest,
it was called a miracle.
1. Jesus called her the way He wanted her to be.
2. Faith always sees the final result.
3. When Jesus went to meet this woman, he could see the final result of
by faith, so he called her the way He saw her by faith: free from that
disease.
