Hardware Failures
Do not forget that all link printers came with a user MANUAL with the
necessary instructions for the operation of the printer.
Don't forget that cables and the leaves are something important for the good functioning of the
printer. Check the power cable, the connection cable from the printer to the computer and
that the paper, ink, or tape are correctly placed.
I.- The printer does not turn on

THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURES FOR SPEAKERS

First: make sure that you have the sound driver, that is, the software that is in charge of
transmit the information from the speakers to the computer.
Second: this controller comes in the motherboard box, if you don't have it then check your
motherboard, if you can't do it by opening the computer in "search program"
system analyzer or something like that that tells you your motherboard model "controller"
sound of the card.

Third: when you don't have a disk you don't need it, just activate all the boxes of the speaker, you get in
to options and then properties and activate all.

Installation of the drivers: Well, we already have the drivers we need.

Now it only remains to install them: The process of installing a driver can be done in two ways.
different: 1st.- By executable: This system is the most used today. It is about
a file (usually called setup.exe) that installs and configures the device drivers.
If the drivers have been downloaded in a compressed format (.zip), we need to find this file. Also
Is it possible for a driver downloaded in .exe format to run an InstallShield or installation process, or
Well, uncompress the drivers into specific folders for later installation. But the
most are executable installation files, that is, of the type name_driver.exe 2nd.-
For driver updates: This system is used much less, although it is also
used in some cases. When we download the drivers (usually a .zip or .exe file that we
create the installation folders, the drivers are extracted into a specific folder, but in
in this case we are not going to find any file of the type setup.exe, but rather we will find
files of various types, including some files of the .inf type, which contain the information
necessary for the installation of said drivers. Since I do not have any at this moment.

this case a ticket printer Epson TM-U 210). Although in some aspects the installation of
The driver may vary, in general terms it would be the same procedure, except: 1st.- The device
the driver we need to install can be found in the Device Manager,
normally with a yellow signal, indicative that that device does not work. 2nd.- They are omitted
the specific points for the installation of a printer. 3rd.- In these cases, the procedure to choose
it is to Update drivers. The rest of the procedure is the same as described. We are going to proceed
with the installation: First, we go to Start, and in this case, we go to Printers and faxes (already
we have said that in another case we must go to Properties --> Hardware --> Device Manager
devices. Inside Printers and faxes we are going to Add a printer. On the next screen
we check Local Printer and uncheck to detect and install the printer via P&P (to me
I particularly don't like to do a P&P installation of devices when they are installed.
controllers through this system, as it increases the chances of error). In the following
screen we choose the port to which we will connect the printer (in this case LPT1). We are shown
the window of the Printer Setup Assistant and we choose the option Use disk. (At this point,
when it comes to another type of device we must choose the type of device it is,
Even if we are going to use the option to use disk, otherwise it may cause us
an error during installation). The following window shows the searcher to locate where they are
located the drivers that we are going to install. We click on Browse and search for the drivers that
we need, specifically the .inf file. In this case, we see that it shows us a series of
folders corresponding to the different operating systems. In this specific case, we choose
WinNT40. This is because I have already checked that this driver works with XP, but it does not do so in
all cases. The correct thing is to choose the exact one corresponding to the operating system we have installed. In
in this image we see the corresponding .inf file for this installation, in this case it is called
OEMSETUP.INF, but in each installation it can have a different name. We move through the
searcher that opens until we locate the one we need to install. This happens in this case.
because within the same installer we have several printer models, but it is normal that
Show us a single device or a few. In the next window, it asks us if we want to
that the printer we are installing is the default printer. And in the next one we
it asks if we want to print a test page at the end of the installation. Next,
shows us a window with all the chosen options. In this window, the Next button
change it to Finish, with which the final installation of the printer will proceed. In
many times we will be shown a window indicating that the device we are
installation has not passed the XP logo test. This is due, in this case, because the
driver is not really for XP, but in many cases it is simply because it has not been presented
the device and drivers to Microsoft to take the exam and corresponding certification. If
No, we are completely sure that these are the correct drivers and that the device
it works with Windows XP (in this case), we must stop the installation. If, as is the case here,
We are confident that both the device and the drivers we are going to install work.
correctly with Windows XP we click on Continue to finish the installation. Well, once
once the installation process is complete, we see that the printer is correctly installed, so
that we conclude the operation.

THE PROJECTOR INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

Conclusion

As has been observed, there are many types of devices that the computer uses and that
they are essential for being able to communicate with the machine. Therefore, it is necessary that we know the
steps of its installation.
Over time, it has been shown that technology advances more every day in search of
better things and greater comfort for the user.
Therefore, we must take into account how to use the peripheral devices of the computer to
make better use of each of these and make our work faster and with
the greatest comfort possible, in order to facilitate our daily tasks with the help of these
machines.
