CAMPUS TOUR - GUIDELINE & SCRIPT
1. After welcoming the guests, introduce yourself (Name, Major, Year) - "I will be
your guide for today's school tour."
2. To ensure the privacy policy of students, faculty, and staff, please refrain from
filming or taking photos during the campus tour.
3. Our tour will last from 40 to 45 minutes. To avoid interruptions during the tour,
parents (and friends) can use the restroom before the tour begins.
4. Note: DO NOT walk past the Changing Room (Sportshall).

ACADEMIC BUILDING 2 - 15 MINS
Built in 2012 and opened in 2013, Academic Building 2 (AB2) has won second prize at the 9th
Energy Efficiency Building Awards.
AB2 was constructed to minimise the impact on the environment by taking advantage of natural
light, ventilation and sustainable materials.
Capacity: 1,100 students at one time.
Level 1 Auditorium - can be called Sydney Theatre.
Capacity: 320
Equipped with state-of-the-art sound and conference systems.
Can be divided into 2 smaller theatres for lecturing or events.
Advanced Manufacturing Lab (2.1.090)
High-tech machines: Laser cutting and 3D printing machines, CNC mechanical
processing machines.
Level 2 Financial Trading Lab (2.2.004 - 005)
Designed to reflect a real-world trading room.
Specialised software will enable students to access and interpret real-time information,
and build their understanding of current business and banking practices.
Level 3 Tourism and Hospitality lab (2.3.001): exclusively for students of Tourism &
Hospitality Management.
Level 4 Project Lab (2.4.040)
A self-study and project workspace dedicated for School of Science , Engineering &
Technology students.
Linux Lab (2.4.041)
Equipped with Linux operating computer system for research and practice of
programming.
Electrical Engineering and Comms Lab (2.4.044):
Model design practice, electronic board programming and software programming
BEANLAND BUILDING - 15 MINS
● This building was refurbished in early 2018

Is where students can find different kinds of support for their academic learning such
as how to study more effectively, improving their understanding of the course content
and planning to do the assignments.
Media Studio
includes a control room and a multi-functional studio space for multi-camera shoots
and screenings
Health, wellbeing and accessibility
For students with disabilities and learning difficulties, RMIT offers dedicated support
services aimed at providing equal access and opportunity. Professional health and
wellbeing support services are also available on our campuses
Level 2 Design Hub
The Design Hub exhibition space is more than a gallery: it hosts workshops,
concerts, parades, conferences and films, plus the chance to see our student and
research works in progress.
Melbourne Theater – The 1st theater of RMIT SGS, capacity: 160 students.
Can be used for lecturing or events (very cool, just like cinema)
Audio-visual Equipment Loan Store
- Students can borrow equipment for studying, doing assignments or projects.
- There are about 3,000 different devices with a value ranging from 5 million for
filming/photography, lighting, professional audio equipment and even games
for Playstation & XBox with controllers.
Fashion Soft Laboratory (1.2.019)
Equipped with resources for garment construction and surface textile embellishment,
including facilities for print design and digital embroidery.
Games Lab (1.2.026)
Offers high-performance computer configuration, designed according to current
industry practice, specifically tailored for game design using Unity, Unreal, and 3D
modelling and animation using Blender and other design software used in games
design.
Mac Lab (1.2.027)
Offers high-performance iMacs with software to help you do homework and projects
(film editing, 3D rendering).
The Games Research Lounge
Level 3 Serves as a fully equipped space where students can explore into researching
various games. From the latest PS5, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch games to a
wide array of other gaming experiences, this lounge caters to all kinds of gaming
enthusiasts and research activities.
Self-learning area (1.3.009)
is a space for all students at RMIT to study, research and do homework on their own.
The room is also equipped with a printer in case they need to print documents.
Languages classroom (1.3.014)
Reserved for Languages classes, equipped with a translation booth and modern
wireless headsets to simulate the work of translating and interpreting.
Library
The largest English language library in Vietnam providing access to over 300,000
books, periodicals, e-books and e-journals. Students and alumni also have online
access to RMIT’s extensive library in Australia.
Level 4 The Digital & Behavioural Business Lab
Gives students cutting-edge courses and technologies in FinTech and Blockchain to
prepare for the future world of work. The Lab works closely with world-class
academics, industry partners and governments to nurture both academic and
industry talents in this very new field.
Mac Lab (1.4.016)
Specialises in serving Software Engineering students, especially those who want to
go deeper into application development for the iOS operating system.
Canteen There are restaurants in every building. Students can have many choices for their
RMIT breakfast/lunch/even dinner. From Asian cuisine to European cuisine.
Price is reasonable for students.

RECREATION AND EVENTS COMPLEX - BUILDING 10 – 15 MINS
The place where sports and entertainment activities take place (with 2 areas: indoor and outdoor),
exclusively for students, alumni, and staff.
● Indoor activities:
o Fitness center - gym - always have staff to provide guidance
o Sportshall: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Futsal, Handball
o 2 Multipurpose (Flemington) rooms for YOGA, dance, music, MMA etc..(second floor)
● Outdoor activities:
o 2 sport field for a variety of sports including: Football, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee,
American Football,
